Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

i just dont get why freeze would be getting the kick right now. i mean it seems as if freeskiing is BIGGER than it's ever been and more and more people are being attracted to the sport. i wouldnt get why they would do somethign like this. Freeze has always been the shit and i am pissed that they are canceling it, seeing as i have 2 free subscriptions.

That's shit. freeze was the best ski mag by far. I even really liked reading axis.

Freeskier better step up a bunch or I'll be pissed.... not that I can do anything about it this point.... fuckers.

fuck that sucks. good magazine.

i think they should have more ads in the mags to pay the bills. like snowboard magazines. it isnt a set back for skiing because i know i will still charge the hill jstu as hard and love the sport jsut as much, but the social adn commercial aspect will eb greatly affected. im sure other sponsors will cover the usopen and that shit.

It was around January in 2000 when I bought my first FREEZE... I soon after quit racing, bought my first pair of twin tips, and started saving up for camp. In a lot of thanks to this magazine I found the sport that gives me a reason to get up every morning. (in the off season I go into sleep mode)

and I am just going to have to e-mail mean words to transworld and cloe my 3 other TWM subscriptions.... cocksucks.

I was just sending in my free sub. today. Until now I have paid, this sucks Axis was the best (don't say anything) and now freeze is the best, and gone also. Freeskier is alright but fuck powder and fuck transworld. They should have cut brad holmes and other lame shit to give it a chance first. They certainly didn't have adverstising and support promblems. Corporate bullshit.

wow, this sucks. freeze was definatly what opened my eyes to newschool. i had a pair of white 720s, but i had no clue what was really going on. it was jon olsson thrownin down on a massive timberline hip, and freeze was in green. i pray to god they start something up againg, cause freeskier sucks. its not nearly as intertaing as freeze. RIP

This is no good. Last season i bought ever issue of the shelf, this year i decided to actually get a subscription... and now i find out its being cancelled. I am very disapointed and saddend at this loss.

This sucks so much. Freeze was by far the best. Freeskier sucks my nuts, it has no good articles at all. I am pissed right off. SBC Skier has to step it up huge amounts.
