We're still talk in about new jersey here. Do people actually ski there?

'funny story:Kurt Heine was in Jersey filming with some pro snowboarders when this Local dirty hippie park ranger guy comes in on his skis and cleans this 40 foot full on bend rail. just gnarly. the snowboarders were only making it like half the way. it was embarrasing.'

Yea...Mountain Creek parks are sick. Every year better and better. That article had some wrong info...My friend kraig works in the park and I know for a fact that they design 99% of the rails and heine only designed 1 or 2 of them.

 
oh yea...what the hell is a '40 foot full-on bend rail'?? who wrote that crap? They are talking about the S rail and its like 55 feet not 40.

 
yea dude..mtn creek represent...fuck ya..the local hippie is dave cavanugh....my buddy....his brother can go switch on and 270 off...but dave is fucking awesome...so is my other buddy julian...they fuckin rule..i love the fact that im prividged to ride with them two all the fucken year long...plus we all just got sponsered together..and we cant wait to destory some nice mtn creek rails this year...fuck yea..who ever wants to ride with us this year..get pysched..its gonna be fun as hell

yah mountain creek has a lot of decent rails, but a lot of the kids their have attitudes like nothin else I've ever seen. i dunno if its trying to be all tough from nj/ny or some shit, but it sucks. no offense to anyone who skis there, just my 2cents...

 
I'd have to agree with you on that one. But that's not the locals that are like that. Most of the locals i've met from there are all really friendly there's basically no hate at all.

yea I saw the MCM a few times their coo but their are alot o snowboarders(too many) who dont understand 'dropin next' and got an attitude to match their style(crappy)

 
yeah, too many snowboarders and people in general for that matter, and too far away from my house (in NEw Jersey) to go there all the time. Oh well

true i go with the ski team so i get to go like 4 times a week after school. just to it up the terrain park the trade off is i have to race thursdays and sumtimes early morning sats but its cool on sats cause i got the rest of the day to chill and bum on the park

 
Winterton might have been misquoted on that or he prolly just exaggerated when he said that the rails were all designed by Heine. But he was only trying to help Mountain Creek out by saying that, so that more people would want to ride their park. It's sick for you guys that your mountain is getting publicity in the most core ski magazine out there and you should be grateful to Jeff for hyping it up.

thanks liam....you gotta come down to creek one time this year...check us out dude...ya i stayed with winterton last year night before the gravity grail....day after you greased the carthina jib....jeff was all about trying to help creek out..he said he'll come down more this year to give us guys exposer and creek some good props....later on

 
Fuck yeah. MCM represent. I'll be there as much as I can throwing down with marty,julian,blake,jeff,sean,and all the other local guys!! This year we are going off for sure because the talent at our mountain is absolutely insane for new jersey. I can't wait guys hopefully the mountain will recognize us once and for all.

Yeah they really need to put on a rail jam for skiers only. Not that i have anything against snowboarders. It needs to be someone that it's with mountain creek to ask them though, like someone on park crew or something.

 
does anyone know how far creek is from like south western CT (fairfield, bridgeport, etc...) kinda a dumb question, but i wanna hit it up this year

hmm too bad i havent seen the new freeze yet. but MC does have a lot of good rails, thats about it though. i was really disapointed in their pipe last year, cause they have the ZAg pipe grommer, but NJ doesnt get enough snow to make walls big enough for the groomer. yea and the jumps blow so bad, they were okay in the way begining of the season to work on switch shit, but after that they were just horrible. and for those people saying that the snowboarders have attitudes or whatever, thats probally cause you didnt repect them. all the skiers and snowboarders that skied MC a lot got along really well. But whatever im all about tahooeee this year, maybe when i go home to nj ill ski creek once to see everyone again :)

eastcoast...nah..i thought the jumps were decent...Saying they were horrible is kinda rediculous...also, the superpipe was amazing on some days and not sooo good on others..every time i was there the walls were too tall actually, not to small. meaning, too high of walls for the amount of pitch on the pipe.

umm..nah..your stupid..i skied snow on 2 different occasions and I skied all of their 'alleged' wonderful parks....Umm...sorry to break it to you, mount snows parks suck...Most people i know will agreee, we would ride creeks parks over snows anyday...snows gotta lotta ketchin up to do.
