Hey! If a girl could do a grab of smaller tables and is learning to throw 180s and can throw them off moguls, would u respect them? Thats about what i can throw and was wondering what you think...

 
most girls in my school cant even ski...your way ahead of them so i respect you

yeah, y not, i have trouble with moguls, but where i skis they are mostly ice. i like never see any girls in the park unless they on a board and even then, they are usually just following their 'guy-friends' around. any chick, whether board or skis trying tricks will get my respect

 
^ same, but try a 360! its easier to land than a 180, although its slightly harder to do. try it, once you get the 3, everything is easy, tat was my breakout trick, once i got it i was throwin 5, 7, corks, all that shizzz so just try it!

 
Thats sick!! ya right now im on the Rossingol B1 womens...so there a pretty heavy ski... if i was on a lighter twin then itd be wayyy easier but once i get teh spin its pretty good and when i nail the 180 on a jump the 180 grabs and 360s arent far behind

 
flail and then learn to put style into it, and don't give yourself the, 'I'm a girl so it's okay if I suck at this like I suck at everything else,' thing.

im basically at the same level as you, try rails though, you would get mad respect once you are able to do them, or even if you keep at them. other than that, we are at the same point

 
you're in almost the same position as my gf. she can do 180's and is workin on grinds and grabs. she's on public enemies so dont worry about the weight. bandits arent even that heavy. just keep workin at it and you'll get it. def. look into getting some twins for next year though. try something lighter like the line chick skis or like some fujatives. good luck

yea... a guy respecting you on NS doesn't really mean all that much. It should be about yourself and pushing yourself past your limits, not all about respect. But i'm a chick on skis and i have respect for anyone on skis, even if they're eating shit everytime they hit something whether it be park or in the woods because at least they're trying

Im totally not doing it just so i can be leik 'wow im soo cool' but its just sorta frustarting at first and i was jsut wondering what you guys thought and w.e...cuz its sorta hard being the only girl pretty much hitting anything

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
 
on the 3- just look for your landing all the way around, but try to keep your eyes & head level or you'll start to cork(at least i do). good luck on that stuff

nonononoononono....you have it all wrong.get comfortable with landing switch so when u bring shit to bigger tables or actual tables then its more comfortable.everyone arund my 'hill' says that landing switch is hard but i find it easyier than landing regular.thats siick what ur doing right know.keep it up and be the next sara burke,
