Freestyle Waterblades....?

so my roommate just found these bad boys in the local thrift store for $25.

neither of us have seen a pair of waterskis like these and we were wondering if anyone has either ridden or owned a pair.

they look fun as shit.

yes, they call those trick skis, and you've got yourself an old pair of them. those things are actually pretty cool, and a definite score for 25 bucks. here's a link to what trick skis are today:

i found a similar pair to op's under my cottage a while back. Im about to shred them this summer

theyre trick skis. theyre much shorter than wakeskis, and they definitely feel more like rollerblades on water. super fun for rippin switch behind the boat and stuff

here ya go, i put clear griptape on top so now the yellow and red look a lot lighter and less saturated but still pretty cool ...

^ that longboard is sick! My neighbor had a pair of these trick skis, all I ever saw him do was attempt to get up switch, so I'm not sure how much of a pro he is.... Trick skis are to wake skis as snow blades are to snow skis?
