Right, the finalists are:
SAMMY : Over scored in my opinion but no doubt deserved to be through, so much style and killed it with his dub corks and flat 5's.
AMBUHL : Got better an better, seems to have all the tricks in the book
ANDREAS : Didn't see him pull the dub cork 7, sure to see it later though
JON : Not quite sure how he made it through pulling the same flatspin 5 (sick though it was). Would have liked to see Lolo or T Wall make it through.
Winner for me will be Andreas if he can stick his dub 7, Sammy close behind with his super tweaked pokey style, Ambuhl 3rd for consistancy and Jon coming in in 4th.
What does anyone else think?
 
I'm gutted Lolo didn't put his sw7 death grab down clean cos i would have loved to see him in the finals more than anybody there and i think Tom would have def knocked Jon out if only he had grabbed is dub 10 but he didn't so no cigar. I do think the right people went through, Its been like this all weekend, the judging is dodgy but in the end its the right people who get rewarded. I hope the finals get a fair result too. Sammy looks set to win though, going bigger, grabbing better and stomping perfect every time, i've been surprised, i didn't realize he was THAT good!

Nice to see Sammy maintaining his relevance. He was never worshiped to the same degree as T-Wall, but there was a time when he was the most popular park skier on NS. Am I wrong about that? Ever since the start of the 4bi9 era, there seems to be some mild resentment towards Sammy on NS . . . maybe because he kept following T-Hall approach to skiing instead of jumping on the T-Wall bandwagon.
 
dude slays the park and seems to be developping into an extremely well rounded bc shredder too if reports on his segment in re:session are to be believed. if he wants to disappear off into the depths of the backcountry for months on end and then reappear in time for comps and dominate those too, rather than dropping thugged out rail edits every five minutes, then more power to him in my opinion. seems to have it pretty figured out to me. i know what i'd rather be doing...

i'd be surprised if pro skiers cared about how they're viewed on ns as kids here seem to think.
