Dub post, but as I was watching the qualification video I was thinking "Damn, Henrik should so turn that into a 12 and win."
 
things that spun me out..

- snow in the city- hitting the barrier to stop

- keeping goggles on forehead

- getting a red bull before even stopping properly like a baby gets a bottle

- doing tricks off something that looks like an Olympic ski jump

- people waving their hands together

- big air sports starting to look similar

Why not send up a bunch of cats in a toboggan?

 
it looks like a rod 5 to cork 5 of sorts. he goes into the second flip doing a right lincoln with a 180, so basically a cork 5. its a really weird flip.
 
Holy shit, that was one of the craziest contests I have ever seen! That dub Wallisch is throwing is nuts, if he has that both ways he could once again be a threat for another year of slopestyle rape.
 
That nose butter 12 was so amazing how the fuck does he do that!! Next level skiing!! So awesome to see phill doing doubles with no poles skiing is about individuality thank god the days of dub cork 12 mutes for every trick are over. !!
 
Kinda agree.

These city big airs are just weird. I am sure it is good for the sport. Some more exposure, money, people, good for the city and stuff. But they are all just so cookie cutter. It is like not even skiing...
 
Fuck every trick in the finals was so sick. Kai tweaking the fuck out a mute in a sw dub misty? Crazy. I loved Wallys tweaked blunt on his sw dub 10 also, too bad they counted his washout at the bottom as a fall... Personally would have had T Wall in 3rd, just because I don't really count Casabons as a dub.. More of a head lean
 
I meant to say the skill was super great and I really enjoyed that. But everyone waving their hands together in unison for me in the end just tipped it over the edge.
 
Well deserved win by Henrik.Now that Phil can throw doubles I bet he'll become a serious contender during the comp scene.
 
Totally agree with you on all counts, but it's all good! This event looks like the funnest thing ever. So much stoke in the crowd and the riders. It's all about having a great time!! This was my favorite Freestyle ch to date, with what seems like more variety in the tricks than in the past. It's going to be a GREAT season!

 
Lol so I guess stomping a landing and afterbanging but then having to purposefully washout so you don't kill someone cause the landing is shorter than my driveway is considered a fall now?
 
this is the most entertaining big air contest I've seen in probably half a decade... way more trick variety than I was expecting.
 
Well he did land it a second time. No washout. So that wasn't really a factor. Was pretty wacky though. I would have a hard time picking between him and Phil for 3rd.
