Those look sick! I have a cabin on a lake and I water ski all the time in the summer. I would love to get those its just I don't have $400.

i have ridden these and they are pretty fun yet a little shakey doing things i have only done a three on these but have not landed switch i have ridden switch but not landing switch im on a waterki team and barefooting and jump waterskiing is wayyyy more fun www.backwatergamblers.com

Im pretty dec with single ski, but nothing new like that heh. Of course I only go twice a year so those would be wasted on me.

You can't really get a knee injury because your feet can twist around and out of the bindings, and that's the main problem with them, there's no forward/backward stabilty. You get the forward backward stability from your skiboots on snow, but you don't get any of that in water.

yeah, to get the stability you tighten the shit out of your waterski/wakeboard/whateveronwater boots to get more support, or at least I do, and so your feet do not come out when you have them that tight. I can for sure say, that I have had many many falls wakeboarding where if I had been on 2 planks I would have fucked at least one ligament in my knees.

but you could get a knee injury if your foot was too tight in the binding, and you impact was such that one leg went under the water while the other got caught on the surface due to the ski and the ski caused your knee to twist.

so i used to have non-releasable bindings on my tele set-up. no good. if i get a pair of these wakeskis, should i mount them with ski bindings?

ya i just see horrible knee injuries. my dad is a big slalom skier (one ski) and he completely tore his ACL and partially tore his MCL. unless they invent a similar system so that the boot will release out of the (water) ski like ski bindings idk if i would feel comfortable
