Well its not been the best start to the Scottish season but things are bound to improve,To help all the Scottish sliders on the west-coast find the best conditions in the parks or off the beaten track, Setting up a facebook page the West-Coast Park Project which is a development from the Glencoe park project we set up last year.

West coast a bigger area larger crew more resources to play with, The idea of the FB page post, your pictures let people know what the conditions are like posted by riders for riders .. We will also use this to

inform any interested free-riders and park riders of events or jams that are planed to run.

We hope to keep it up dated with the actual condition and set-up of the parks and the snow cover ..

If your Interested West-Coast Park Project .. on FB

How sick would it be if we could set up a permenant park with a tow, kind of like snowparkNZ. Would boost scottish freeskiing massively.

sounds good!

probably going to make the 10 hour drive up to scotland sometime this season.

Yea the weather has been hard on all the Scottish resorts the harsh winds that have been hitting the country have limited the use of higher lifts or just shut the resort .. looks like a break in the weather though and parks don't require much snow and you can session them all day, free-skiing is where its @ but only if the conditions allow .. prob a little hard packed for that, might want to let the temperature rise just a little :) but with the chance of a great weekend sun and light wind out on the mountains sessioning some jibs with your mates .. got to be better than x-box,

its not x-games but it will do for now .. the view from the summit taken today a limited line 3-4 features but fun

your kinda new here, so you probably arent aware of the video razors-chaz posted a few months ago about Scottish big mountain skiing.

I wouldnt say scotland is nothing without park skiing!

Oh I totally agree Scotland has some epic lines if you are willing to hike I would rather hike and ski off piste any chance I get the hike can be as good as the descent depending on where you go ... but if the conditions are solid hit the groomed park and enjoy !

Define fun .. near death heart pounding madness .. thinking that you are the one in control not gravity !!

Ok yea I will give you that ... if you live it was fun !!

SCOTCH!

Lol... probably a stupid north american thing to say.

Anyways, scotch is awesome. I also know (and I hope I'm right) that you're not supposed to drink it neat, but with a little bit of water.

Maybe for you, but not for everyone. The last thing freeskiing should be about is being told by someone else that one thing is more fun than another.

I saw this on facebook, decent. Cairngorm are doing a good job right now since there's little snow. They've got a nice line with 2 boxes 2 rails and a little kicker. It's just a shame that the landings are so hard-pact and are getting icy because of lack of fresh snow so if you fall off it's really damn sore ( as I found out today).

Liked yer page by the way :)

you both misread my message, i said without there being a lot more to scotland than park we'd have practically no skiing, and no i havn't see razor chaz ill have to look that up thanks

Have always wanted to go to a scotland ski area but always find that your never quite shore of what the snow is going to be like.
