pep may not be the best competitor right now but i think he belongs higher up there, his seg in 1242 is still the most progressive one ever and judging from the footy in the war teaser he still is pushin it

Come on, they can't fit everyone in there... I agree that DC and Pollard should both be on there, but Abma in 2nd isn't THAT surprising, if you've seen his yearbook seg, and know what he can do on the BC hits (RFA). He's more well rounded than people think.

i watched the front line last night & it reminded me how much i really love watching tanner, cr, & pep ski. before all this bullshit came along.

 
well ive seen abma in yearbook and if you compare that to sages all around performance abma gets wrecked in every aspect..sage should be 1, pollard 2, jon 3 if theyre basing it on overall talent

 
Abma is a great skier no doubt and had a sick segment in yearbook. but I wouldn't put him up that high. My friend has beaten Abma in just about every comp that they've done together.

uhhhh park skiing? all mountain? theres a difference. henrik sizzles everyone except jon and the other big mountain dogs. if you are saying best all around that list needs revision.

id say its a poor rough draft at best. C-

 
the criteria was the diversity, film, competition, creativity, influence. Thery wanted skiers who do many things well, skiers who put together great film segmants, skiers who have proven that they can excel under the pressure of competition. but most importantly, they wanted a list of skiers whose vision of what can be done on snow is cutting-edge of skiing today.

and yet DC still isnt on there. of course they can't get everyone on the list, but come on, thats a pretty huge omission.

with their criteria, minus competition, pollard should be up there.

I can't take this list seriously when the skier I look up to the most and respect the most isn't on there.

I would not put tanner near the top. top 3... are hard to pull apaprt.

Jon (all aorund by far the best skier in the world. wins races, big mtn, park, pipe, everything), Pep, and Pollard.

and i dont know how you can compare hugo and simon. it just cant be done. i say leave the big mountain skiers out of this, theyre in a league of their own. but that also brings about the problem of where do you draw the line...man, i really dont like this list.

DC is up there for sure... top 5, with tanner i guess, and gagnier pretty much is someone who shows what you can do on skis.

Seth, Sage (was best performance this year, combining big mountain smoothness, huge drops, tricking off cliffs etc) Also Hugo Harrison and Jeremy Nobis.

 
do you guys really think hugo deserves to be up that high? he skis straight and doesnt fall. big woop. hes pretty damn good and all and deserves everything, but i dont think he should be at 7. my opinion.

i agree with the fact that there should be a separate list for big mountain skiiers. you cant really put them together.

Seth should be up in the top 3. He's the one that has exposed skiing when it needed to be and in turn helped create interest in the sport by more companies so fellow skiers like you and I can have a chance to become sponsored to do something we love. Seth and the members of the New Canadian Airforce should be way up on the list.
