powder. I love everything in it, IMO the articles are written better and the gear guide is amazing.
But Freeskier has all the info about the freestyle world that I could want.
So it's a toss-up, but I subscribe to powder instead but I pick up an issue of freeskier every month or so.

Iy definatly depends, if you ski alot of big mountain you will obviously like powderm but if you ski park you will most likely read freeskier even though freeskier has a little more variety than powder, i lhave a subscription for both magazines and think they are both awesome, sbc skier is sick as well

I think powders better cuz it has better articles and pictures but i also like freeskeir

Powder's pretty good. They usually have good articles and pics, but their buyers guide for this year sucked. They could've put at least 10 more skis in the park and pipe section, and they also put the rossi scratch brigade in the p+p section when obviously thats not rossi's park ski. I've yet to read freeskier, since for some reason no stores have it here. I guess I need to get a subscription.

there both pretty good IMO so i cant really choose...i just usually buy whatever the 7/11 has in at the time

I'd have to say powder. I like both and i'm subscribed to freeskier, but i think the articles in Powder are more entertaining, and it seems like it takes me longer to finish reading a Powder magazine. I like um both either way.

Agreed, Freeze was the only magazine worth reading. Freeskier and Powder are both long commercials camoflaged by occasional and poorly written articles. Freeze wasn't a literary masterpiece, but there was at least something genuine about it that Freeskier cant seem to recreate. And additionally Freeze realized that it was a huge commercial so they gave it away for free like crazy instead of trying to make you pay six bucks or whatever per isue for freeskier.
