wut the hell is freeskier magazine, i bought one today cause chapters had no freeze. its exactly the same as ski canada and that skier magazine but they replaced all the old people pics with people freeskiing, very disappointing effort.

 
I have a hard time believing it's anything like ski canada, and SKIER is a pretty cool magazine. The difference is that Freeskier is geared towards people who have been in the scene for a while, whereas freeze targets kids.

freeskier is quality, but i think its to short and they dont make that many issues per year

ski canada has to be the worst magazine ever, never compare the 2

freeskier is fine. but skier wins cause its local canadian talent, and whats better than seeing your friends in your fave ski mag?

Yeah a lot more articles than pictures. Its i think a little more serious than Freeze. Not saying Freeze is a joke or anything just not the same...

I know this is gonna sound dumb, but I really like how Freeskier stays independent. I mean sure freeskier should have more issues, more this and more that, but the fact that is isn't owned by the same corporation that also owns 'this old house' (freeze) is a plus.

Freeskier sucks, terrible mag. You look at it once and you basically never want to look at it again. After I bought the issue with CR on the front I told myself I would never buy that thing again, but I bought the new one, just terrible. The only thing that's good is Tanner's flat 7 sequence near the back.

 
I think freeskier is a good mag regardless of the fact that it can be a little short. but freeze is short too.

freeskier targets my demographic well.

I think if freeskier would have guest columnists writing local reports it could beef up the mag.

and aren't there 5 issues a year now?

Freeskier magazine licks balls! I hate it. WORST 'freeskiing' geared magazine available. Even Powder is better, MUCH better.

a, go to hell semen sucker, second, freeskier is very good, 3, powder is friggin AWESOME. i was reading freeskier when i went to this thread. also, powder is sitting right under it. wow, what a co-ink-e-dink.

remember; i cant be trusted, becase the only ski movies ive ever seen were the warren miller ones, and in the haze.

and yes, i am in love with (a) sam caylor and (b)harvey.
 
Bottom line: Every ski magazine out there is good. Why? They feed us. They know more about the sport than any of us, and they've been involved in the industry for longer than any of us. So seriously, I think you should just bite your tongue when you feel the need to dis any ski mag. What have YOU done for the sport lately? Definitely not as much as any ski magazine, especially Freeskier. They are proud of what they do and they show the outstanding amount of passion they have for our sport. Props to ALL ski magazines, and haters, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
