Freeskier mag, Worth it?

This was the only mag worth subscribing to had sequences and dinosaurs. RIP.

With the internet at your fingertips I think magazines are obsolete

Magazine's best uses were on the toilet, but now we all have smartphones
 
freeskier is a litteral pay to print magazine..all those gear of the year awards paid for. All those articles about that sick heli ski operation paid for. To get into freeskier magazine takes a check and nothing else...waste of fucking money.

if you actually want a good ski magazine check out the ski journal. I have had a subscription to them for the last 5 years, If you actually like articles about going ski touring in argentina by a bunch of ski bums or good articles like how global warming will affect our sport it is the magazine i would choose

If by half you mean all of it, you'd be right. I got a subscription as a gift, and I usually look at each issue for about 15 minutes.

I got a free 1 year subscription Like 5 years ago too. One issue didnt come emailed them complaining and now they are still coming lol. Would bever pay for it though

I've been getting it for a few years and I think it's halfway decent. I have a fairly long train commute to work and sometimes I'd rather read than look at a phone screen early in the morning. I do think they do a good job on their yearly gear guide.
 
My mom saw some deal on it it she was like oh freeskiing my son does that and bought it for me for like 5 bucks for like 5 years and i usually skim it but wouldnt have paid normal price haha

Powder magazine is a bigger waste of time than freeskier, i just get super dissappointed by Powders articles, some of them are cool and intruiging but they just don't get me hyped like they used to. I'd choose freeskier over powder imo.

If we could have a magazine like Thrasher fo and skiing that would be dope.
 
I got a deal on a two year subscription like 4 years ago and they've just been coming ever since, not bad. Nice pictures.
 
I love magazines I enjoy the hard copies. Freskier isn't that great...articles usually suck. I do enjoy their pictures though. Its obvious its ad driven but its still good for what you pay (usually a low price). Good bathroom material for me.
