i was positive my subscription had expired, i dont remember renewing it since i bought teddy bear crisis, i nearly bought the buyers guide today at the mall. but i came home to find it in my mail box.

They keep sending it to you to get their circulation numbers up. This lets them charge more for advertising. Even though they probably claim the free ones sent to you as paid subscriptions in their numbers.

yeah something similar happened to me. last year i thought my subscription had ended and then the buyer's guide came in the mail. i called them up and they said that i'm still good til '09... sweet.

Yeah, same thing happened to me - i wasn't sure if they were shipping to me because i free subscription and couldn't check my account because none of the other mags i have had the account number - and i was gonna head out to EMS tomorrow

I have never subscribed and I have been getting magazines from Snowboarder, Transworld Snowboarding, and Freeskier for the past 3 years.
