freeskier for sale?

anybody know if freeskier is really for sale? and why my original post about this is gone? weird, but i can't say it's for sure or not, because my friend was really drunk at a bar when he says he 'overheard' it

'tis true. but what's up with being for sale? i thought they always profess to be so independent? not if some giant company buys them

 
Nah, it's BS. Freeskier will remain independent for as long as possible

i heard it was legit ... my friend who goes to CU boulder heard it from somebody there, from someone 'in the know' apparantly, that they were looking to sell. I guess as long as it's still on my doorstep next winter i don't care, i'm just surprised
