Freeski comp on TV

They showed the World Heli Challenge from New Zealand. It had some sick terrain. But for some reason they decided to not show the rest of the competition in order to show Core Culture.

They show it in segments, they showed freestyle like 2 days ago. The standard tricks were backs and laaaaid out fronts, nothing spectacular, bellivieu threw a 7 to win freestyle. Whats up with the big mtn. segment, it was like 2 turns, drop a cliff or something and thats it, really short course. Anyway it was really sweet to see that shit on tv, a lot better than surfing.

yeah i think they are gonna be showing the senior freestyle canadian nationals sometime in april. it was a good show too and i was in it. the only shitty thing was it was like a blizzard one day and the big air was brutal and they had to repaint the jump after every run and they couldnt have the mens arial comp. oh well still good. look for it on fox sports net i think.

I never said anything about the sport, surfing looks cool as hell and I hope to try it this summer when we visit my freind in cali. I hate watching surfing however, its so boring, carve left, carve right blah blah blah. People skiing different crazy chutes and goin tech on a crazy line is entertaining. I also love to play paintball, I used to be into paintball as much as skiing, but its pretty boring to watch a speedball match on tv.
