i have terrible problems with shin bang from my lang boots and am thinkin about gettin rossi freeride x boots. has anyone tried these and can tell me how they feel? thanx

I think it's more the way you're landing then your boots man, i have 1080 boots and my shins hurt from landing backseat.

I got LOTS of shinbang in lange boots, a little less in Atomic and very little in 1080 boots with custom footbeds and liners. It is more the fit of the boot which is important than the boot model and how you land but yes, Lange's are bad in general.

the soft flex of the 1080's does help quite a bit but they are not a cure. damn.

I really enjoy my Freeride X's. They are pretty soft but I'm fairly light. I have had some shin bang problems but i doubt it's the boots' fault.

the boots really dont matter if you land backseat your shins are gonna hurt for a while ive done that a lot just always land forward landing backseat is the worst thing for shins

well langs are the worse for shin bang though, i hated them. i got the rossi freeride x last year and i love them. best boot in my opion. defenitly go wiht these. i tried the 1080's too and i picked the rossis over the salomons

I got the Freeride XX and they are amazing boots, no ski bang ever, just make sure you got that top velcro starp done up real tight.

Ya, those boots are really good, I would recommend them over pretty much any other boot. Later.
