Watching the first stop now pretty good so far the face they are skiing is kind of short though. Wish Navarro got more respect for skiing lines the rest of them are too pussy to hit.

Mogul skier girl shows up and gets the win right quick. and super hot Quebecois to boot. Mogul skiers are the best skiers fr.

Felt like Finn got robbed this last event. I’m sure it’s hard to judge riders like Finn compared to totally diff styles like Abel or Aymar but Finn had the tech section at the top and the freestyle elements

First stop in Baqueira was eh, but Ordino was amazing. So stoked watching Maxime throw down after seeing him ski at Snowbird, as well as Ross Tester. New kid on the block Marcus is also clearly one of the best skiers already, however the skier that has won my heart is LEIF MUMMA. Such a fun name to say, and the dude is so silky smooth on skis. He deserved to podium for his Baqueira run and I hope he can make the cut.

I'm a big fan of Molly too but it's so clear that her skiing strength and technique is a step above the other ladies right now.

Watching Finn Bilous ride like 100 ft switch in steep variable snow to then do a switch 1 off a cliff and land it clean was sex.

Also cork 7 and dub backie in one run was unimaginable even two years ago. Shit it's even hard to comprehend now. Young guns are killing it

Yeah he did get robbed, he got robbed again yesterday. He's doing stuff that no-one else can and is clearly more difficult. Not sure if he should be winning on his overall score but he definitely should be in the top 3.

Also looks like Marcus Goguen could start winning everything after his run yesterday.

I'm really enjoying the comp. The level is insane these days. Would love to see the next comp with some powder snow so the snowboarders can show some more, the difference between the skiers and snowboarders is huge with low snow or difficult snow. Also, we need more stops per season, three before the finals is not enough. In the past they went to Alaska and Japan. Also I think last year they did two comps in one venue, that was actually great as the riders got a feel for the snow and could do different lines. Anyway, the skiers in the tour this year, amazing what they do in that terrain. 360's into chutes, 720s, double backie, multiple backies in one run. Yes Finn his score was on the low side but the scoring system is a bit misleading, you can not focus on the actual numbers but have to compare it to the other riders. Max Hitzig run was epic as well.

It has been cool to see them skiing decent snow for a change. Last year had some brutal conditions.

Does anyone have a link to Finn's runs? I don't want to skim through the hours of replays

Bilous seems to be picking up the crumbs of Sammys style. Navarro will be missed, always brought such incredible lines to the tour, always did something different than the norm. It is a shame that the judging is so biased towards tricks, causes guys like Navarro to be unsuccessful despite putting down huge lines.

Thanks, you are doing the gods work.

That was one sick run! Especially the lower half with butter 3, switch 1 and handrag 3 was so smooth!

Just so you know someone has timestamped every single run on the tour in the comment section of the VOD.

Maybw the reason it Finn is getting robbed is the line score vs. air and style. If it’s judged like Junior freeride, I’m pretty sure line score is the most important category with the other ones just improving based off of that score, so even if you max out your air and style it won’t help as much as picking a super gnarly line

As an 200m vert hill skier the scoring makes no sense lol…my dad and I trying to figure out why some runs get scored shit and others super high

There should be a separate discipline for speed/difficulty of line and one for tricks.

Too many boomers complain about it being too dangerous in the past when competitors would send it. I mean I understand that the point is typically to avoid rocks but if its steep and they are covered in ice most can be skied over. I don't want guys avoiding the crazy shit because they can't throw tricks on it and score points.

I think he's not going quite as big as some other competitors but freestyle is essentially mandatory now since Leif Mumma didn't even podium with the best line of the day in Spain

Yeah I don't know how the judging factors are weighed exactly, but didn't Finn have a sick ass line? That top section that was agro af and then the way he linked everything together without so much as getting off balance. Maybe that's fluidity and control or something - but his whole run seemed tight.

Agreed. judges will be kicking themselves for not rewarding Finn enough after they review footage post-event. his hand drag 3 was filthy clean. he even hit a chunk of something skiing switch and kept it silky. his run was unique and it stood out.

and Max face Palm, shit. You had the tour lead in your pocket, though we appreciate slashes for fun!
