Freeride ski game coming out on PSP and PS2

i totally agree. I'd like a ski game where it looks and feels real not another ssx. Even the way you do tricks in amped could carry over well into a skiing game. It's also be sick to add like a combination of competing and filming into the career mode, like if you get big enough then companies would send you on trips to film, etc.
 
u know what would be sick?

being able to drive around a city and find an urban, build ramps, and hit it before cops come?

and like every month, theres a new city to hit?
 
that would be wicked sick, but have like one big city, and you could jib on anything, like chose where to set ur in run in. Also have your house in that city and have a set up in your yard.
 
it looks like its gonna be like all backcountry, thats kinda cool and all but it would be so much better if they would do park too and be able to build bc kickers atleast, and like every screen shot has them wearing a backpack, and kinda gay clothes, mabye it will be different though.

But yeah keep it semi realistic. I mean not to the point of boredom, but not like ssx where you can do things that are completely impossible.

This shit needs on wii or gamecube
 
i think it should be either flow, newschoolers, freeze or stomp.

also hiking would be sick, random bc booter you would have to find. realistic tricks, keep it simple, dont need like extreme boost type shit kinda like the star mode like mario. jsut keep it simple and realistic. also have a park maker where you have like half a mountain, then make it so you can add trees, cut runs then make parks on them and then towards the top of the mountain have cliffs and some back country areas where you can add BC booters.

when is this going to come out?

this thread is about 2 months old, and the game is already called "freakout".. but i personaly wouldve liked flow or freeskier
 
NS!

make it so you can't revert spins in the air...i.e. you can't do a leftside 3 to a rightside 3 in one air...unless you are the charachter pep fujas.
 
make it for the wii. have it so that the first controller controlls the left pole, the second controller controlls the left ski, the third controller controlls the right ski, and the fourth controller controlls the right pole. you'll have to play with your feet and shit. ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE!
 
i played this game on the comp a little. justa demo version.

the skiing is actually pretty fun and you can do some pretty stylie spins. slow 180's, corks, switch corks etc.

the biggest issue is the grabs. there is none that look cool, unless the full version has more. there is an iron x tail grab, and straight iron, then some weird random special trick that comes with every character.

ive played the game. its pretty good. Good graphics and everything, but its not real gear... i dont think and its not very realistic, but more than ssx for sure
