Freeride/Big Mt pow sticks

Highly recommend bent chetlers as an option too, they are pretty similar to ww.

super light and floaty and deep rocker in both ends make them easy to pivot around.

Not the chargiest, but pretty good stiff part undefoot and being so wide makes them good for blasting through pretty much anything.

I need help deciding whether to get Wildcats (116) or WW116s or another hard charging powder ski.

Do you have a length preference? If you go with the 190 wildcat it will be 118 instead of the 116 on the shorter skis.

they charge. Fantastic skis. Build quality is through the roof. They still have a few blem wildcats available onsale atm too. I have both the 118 190 and a 179 108 cat as well.

I also have the mentioned bent Chetler 120’s and I’ve demoed the 100 and 110. They do not compare in any way shape or form to t he wildcat. They are soft noodles compared to the cats. I would stay away from Chetler’s if you’re looking for a charger.

Thanks for the advice, I’m about 5’10” so 190s will be a little on the long side but I’ll probably be fine

They have 179’s left in the blem sale if you don’t want to size up.

The 190 is a lot of ski at first since it’s a 118. But you get use to it pretty quick honestly.

Hell no chetlers are way to soft and chattery for me to trust them on big shit

100% get the wildcats. I have them in a 101 and they still performed well in 6+ fresh snow cliff landings. Literally trust them on anything except super big hucks into deep snow purely because of width.

Wildcat was first real ski I bought and since my quivers grown I still rode them half of this season. Love them so much.

next big mtn/pow ski is hands down going to be the wildcat in a wider width + one size up

ON3P Jeff 110

Kinda niche but they charge pretty hard, while still being able to ski other stuff

They rec mount is freestyle oriented, but if your looking for something built to purely charge check out the wrenegades

I love my kore 105s to death and will talk about them to anyone who will listen. They’re great for pnw low, even deep cement days, but you can always go up to the 115 if you want burlier and better float

Alternatively the on3p woodsman would be a good choice. You can rip on them but still loose enough to have fun and pivot quick. You can get some sweet deals on the factory finds right now.

gotta toss the Revolt 114 in here for a charging pow ski. It won't be as surfy as the Wildcat due to the flat tail, but it is far and away the best charger I have ever skied.
