the gunshot holds no fear

i agree. fuck u all who think that pple dying in a terrorist attack and dying at war are things to laugh about.

the gunshot holds no fear

as of now iraq was better off with hussein. their condition will improve with time, but im not so sure that democracy is the best government for them.

I'll find it, but I won't kill it. Now, what about my dynamite?

a lil song for you......

I hear people sayin'. We Don't need this war

But I say there's some things worth fightin' for.

What about our freedom and this piece of ground?

We didn't get to keep em' by backing down.

They say we don't realize the mess we're gettin in

Before you start your preachin' let me ask you this my friend.

Chorus

Have you forgotten how it felt that day,

To see your homeland under fire

And her people blown away

Have you forgotten when those towers fell

We had neighbors still inside goin through a livin hell

And you say we shouldn't worry about Bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

They took all the footage off my TV

Said it's too disturbin for you and me

It'll just breed anger is what the experts say

If it was up to me I'd show it every day

Some say this country's just out lookin' for a fight

Well after 9-11 man I'd have to say that's right.

Chorus

Have you forgotten how it felt that day

To see your homeland under fire

And her people blown away

Have you forgotten when those towers fell

We had neighbors still inside goin through a livin hell

And we vow to get the ones behind Bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

I'v been there with the soldiers

Who've gone away to war

And you can bet that they remember just what they're fighting for

Have you forgotten

All the people killed

Yes some went down like heroes

In that Pennsylvania field

Have you forgotten

About our Pentagon

All the loved ones that we lost

And those left to carry on.

Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten?!

Have You Forgotten-Darryl Worley

they should buil toilet towers

That song sounds like it's referring to Afghanistan, not Iraq. And if thats what you thought then you're wrong because 9-11 is not connected in any way to Saddam Hussein.

I'll find it, but I won't kill it. Now, what about my dynamite?

good job bud... but it is however connected to the thread... cinsidering the world trade centers stood where the soon to be freedom tower stands... so in that aspect.. you are wrong it is related... to teh thread

i guess it's related to the thead, but not to where the conversation went. the war part threw me off

I'll find it, but I won't kill it. Now, what about my dynamite?

Do you know any iraqi's that died because hussain is a dumbass dictator? probably not but people still died, shouldnt we try to help them too?

^ yea no kidding man... he killed over 1 MILLION of his own citizens... through torture... probably didn't spell that right but thats ok..and to think some of thoes kids would rather have him still as the dictator of Iraq

There has been about 22000 civilian deaths in Iraq because of the war. Not soldiers, civilians. It's true that killing 1 million of his own people is a terrible thing, but one of the reasons for taking him out of power was gassing the kurds in the 80s, back when Iraq was our friend because we needed the oil. We knew he had done it when he did, but we never did anything.

I'll find it, but I won't kill it. Now, what about my dynamite?

lol the way i figure it.. we will be pissing someone off no matter what.. weather we get the oil from Iraq or from Alaska.. haha i mean.. serously what do people want.. "ahh what an idiot invading iraq just to get oil" lol well.. wanna go hit up alaska? haha then u got the "ahhh what an idiot.. save the forest!!" lol what do u want oil from Iraq?? lol i mean serously.. kind of a loose loose situation.. whatever he does people will bitch at him.. haha and honestly.. i think everyone knows that that will happen sooner or later because of the high demand....(none of thoes quotes were directed towards you will)

yea, uhhh... iraq has more oil than saudi arabia...

Did you know that most of those 1 million people were killed during a civil war. They were not "his own people" they were rebels and traitors to his government.

lol rebbles and trators to his government... basically disbeliving everything that he is doing right? lol tell me if i am wrong... then basically you are are rebble and trator to our government considering that u disagree with our presidents actions in all these situations... so basically u should get killed... but it would be ok right? cause you would jsut be the same... a rebble and trator... haha

no. because they were in a civil war, we are not.

i can't believe you just said that. soldiers are people who fight against each other on one side or the other. it's their job. civilians are not trying to kill, but are (for the most part) completely innocent and should not be involved.

If killing Sadam was the point of the Iraq war, why didn't America just assassinate him, instead of killing thousands of innocent civillians?

ya im not too familiar with the national guard but to further our point, how can you say a civilien is not as innocent as a soldier, a civilien pays taxes which payes the soldier they are equally innocent and guilty at the same time why should either of them die anyfuckingway

You are wrong, Because i have not taken up arms against my governemnt and begun to attack and kill soldiers, or government officals.. If i had, then yes, the governemt would have every right to imprision me or kill me on a feild of combat (and in some states even as my judical punishment)

You are also very wrong because am not an American citizan.

The point i was trying to illustrate is that, contrary to popular belive, he didnt just wake up one morning and say "hey, lets go kill my people!". He did however wake up one morning to a civil war, and since he was the person in charge, he did what he could to stop it. Same thing the Brittish empire did when some of their citizans wanted independence.

Let me explain what I just did. I went to Google (www.goodle.com) and typed in "Democracy in Iraq." The next thing I did was go to a website. This happens to be the Council on Foreign Relations website. Here I located this article titled "Why Jan. 30 Won't Work"

http://www.cfr.org/pub7543/leslie_h_gelb_peter_galbraith/why_jan_30_wont_work.php

Let me quote some FACTS from this article, so you may separate facts from opinion.

"For one thing, most Sunni Arab leaders are telling their followers to boycott, and Sunni insurgents, even after Fallouja, can still mount attacks all across the Sunni Triangle and will disrupt substantially the elections there." This means that the Sunni Arabs are not happy with how the elections are structured, and not satisfied with the potential government.

"Sunni Arab turnout... might well be as low as a quarter of their total number, compared with likely Kurd and Shiite voters reaching three-quarters of their totals, or more. In 1992, more than 90% of Kurds voted in free elections in the north." This means that the Sunnis are underrepresented in the new government, and the Kurds are given executive power over them.

"...Sunni Arabs could end up holding only 5% of the assembly seats while constituting 20% of Iraq's population. Shiites could amass 65% of the seats with only 55% of the population, while the Kurds would have 25% of the seats with less than 20% of the population. Thus, Shiites and Kurds would dominate the elected assembly overwhelmingly, while Sunni Arabs effectively would be marginalized." Say goodbye to any legitimacy this altruistic government theoretically had...

"...Shiites would understandably expect to govern Iraq. But the reality is that Sunni Arabs will not accept rule by the very people they bossed and victimized for most of the last century." The Sunni Arabs have been the victim of more hate crimes and terrorism in the last century than America EVER will be.

"Shiite leaders would want to dictate the terms of Iraq's constitution. In fact, they opposed a provision in the country's interim constitution that would have given the two smaller groups a veto over the final document. This puts the Shiites on a collision course not only with Sunnis, but also with Iraq's powerful Kurdish minority. The Shiite parties are religious; the Kurdish parties are secular and nationalist. The Kurds, who have been de facto independent from Baghdad since 1991, look to the West for their political model; the Shiites are influenced by Iran. So, if Allawi and Bush go forward with nationwide elections in January, here's what they can expect: The Shiites will have the full legal authority derived from free and democratic elections, but not the power to enforce it outside their own region. Sunni Arabs will be further marginalized, and more will join the insurgents. Ethnic and religious conflict could explode."

Now, keep in mind this is old news, from Jan 30 when democracy was first being introduced (I guess). But the exact same problems still exist today.

lol then don't complain about US polocy.. haha and how OUR presidend is dealing with the situation in Iraq...

also.... most of the citizens Saddam killed were civilians that had done nothing wrong to his government except refuse to believe in what he wanted them to believe in.. they did not killing of his soldiers..

yes, and many of the people that the Amercians have killed in iraq have never been terrorists, were not invoved with terrorism, NEVER did anything wrong or against your government, didnt deserve to die horrible the deaths which they did because they were simply in the vicinity of people who may or may not have had ideals which threatned the US.

And there was infact a civil war, where people were fighting and killing sadams soldiers and government officals and being killed by them. Yes sadam did kill some people who didnt deserve it, But alot of them were killed during a war.

terrible... thats ashame honestly..but then again.. the should have steped up... dictatorship is not the way to go my friend...

the freedom tower looks retarded... it would be cool if it had offices past 2/3 of the way up, but it looks like they just put a sort of empty extender thing up there so it would be taller.

It could be a cool setting for a movie, though... imagine two ninjas fighting on top of that huge glass structure haha

ok i admit i didnt read through them all but i checked this one out 'But, and here is where disaster lurks, this is virtually certain not to occur. Sunni leaders have told their people not to vote in order to protest the Fallouja offensive, and insurgents will intimidate many others.' this is basically saying that the sunnis dont WANT to vote and that they are terrorising other friggin strings of their religion. they are not being underrepresented, they are not fucking voting

what there leader does to his people is up to him. its not our job to go in and fuck things up. what if Britian thought that our government was unjust to its people (americans) and decided to attack us and kill our congress members and such. the main idea here is that saddam hussain and iraq was not a threat to the people. its a little different when you look at it as you're the one getting invaded and attacked.

the gunshot holds no fear

well i agree in part with you, see here, the USofA may have have other reasons to invade iraq(oil) but the public reason is to protect the world from wepsofmassD. so.....you know what, i dont know where im going with this

No, it's saying that sunni's, a prominent, underrepresented minority, are protesting the unfair vote. The Insurgents in that quote are of a different sect, on an unrelated note. They insurgents are merely pressuring all people not to vote.

o its not our job to go in and save the people? isnt that what you retards are saying now "its terrible your killing all these civilians, lets save them! wah wah wah" well guess what, we did save a TON of civilians. its not our fault if they are too dumb to notice when there neighbors dirt mound (house) blows up, that they have to get out of there. its common fucking sence, i know your going to talk about how they are inoccent and getting killed, "they dont have anywhere to go" but if the people that are getting killed dont have anywhere to go, where is everyone else going? idk about you , but if i am a soldier in iraq, and i see some dude walk out of his house with a towl around his head, carring an AK-47, i think i would have my finger on the trigger, if they are civilians and dont want to get killed, dont look so damn suspicious!!

-kulpy-

vincepru-"i jibbed a car in a parking lot yester day and the bumper fell off, then i ran."

" please tell me how the United States military is any better is any more justified in their killing of innocent civilians in Iraq. Please, please explain to me how using stealth bombers, which fly too high to be touched by the shitty weapons that the people or Iraq have, to drop incindiary bombs ( a bomb which sprays a petroleum gel in the air above the target, which is normally a village, and then ignites it as it hits the ground. Burning anyone alive who is un its fall out area and anyone who was inside a house and might have been from the intense heat would die shortly after of asphyxiation because the fire has burned all the oxygen. No one escapes these bombs.) on women and children is any more justified than flying a plane into a building. Tell me how the tens of thousands of lives lost by innocent people in Iraq is equal to the few thousand lost on 9/11. Please explain to me who forcing the people of a country to live every day in fear of your familys life, not to mention your own makes us any better than the terrorists we are trying to find."

that is from one of apple's posts earlier in the thread. give up your argument that "it's their own fault that they're getting killed by americans". you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
