Free skis for life

does that mean that every 10000 entries they randomly pick a winner or is it whoever lands on 10000, 20000, 30000 and so on

I wonder what qualifies as "for life" is that a new pair every season? what if you break them, does the warranty still apply even though they were free? hmm...

There's probably some fine print about what free skis for life means, but at any rate, I'm pretty sure it means free skis, so thats a win.

A touch of javascript here... a bit of a prod over there... voila, 10000 entries?
It just says "Juking the system by writing automated signup scripts"
Does that mean I can or I can't?

I think they pick an entry at random, but give the person who actually lands on 10,000 a prize package as well.

Am i right if i say that they ask your age so that way, if the they pick some dude who's 8 years old, they'll just put aside they're pick and try to get a guy who's in his late 30's or 40's?

I find it logic. I mean, would you prefer giving free skis for... let's say 30~40 years, or would you prefer giving them for only a short period of time? Of course... giving out ONE pair of skis a year isn't that much of a loss, money wise. But 30 years of giving away 700$ is still 21 000$.

or maybe i just made of a theory for nothing...

Contest rules say that you get one pair of skis, every two year, for 50 years. Or until you die.

Also, they pick the winner once they hit 100,000 entries.

I suspect a pair of skis doesn't cost K2 $700
In fact I suspect that if you buy a single pair of K2's, you pay for the winners ski for that year.
Cheap promo. And look at the marketing info they're getting from it... they get your age and location (IP geolocation) so they instantly have a pretty good picture of roughly how many people your age from your locale are skiers and regularly surf skiing related websites.

DO you get to pick the skis they give you, do they come with bindings? Probably not, and it probably doesn't even matter since I'm not gonna win.
