Free skiing at Creasted Butte again?

Hey got a question for you crested butte locals and riders out there: i kno they did it this past season with the free skiing before the 15th of dec, does anyone know if they will do that again this coming season? cause that would be sweet. let me know thanks.
 
I was wondering the same thing yesterday. My brother is getting transfered to Denver and wanted to hit that deal up.
 
yea that was pretty stellar... road trip from salt lake to sleep in the back of my friends tiny red bug for 2 days eating nothing but chex mix and vodka.... great times for sure
 
Whatever, season pass holders get to cut the line and it's not like the promotion even extends that far into the season. I was there for the last week of it last year and didn't really notice that many more people compared to past seasons where I was there all winter. Sure it burns a little paying for an expensive pass while an entire family rides the lift for free, but locals alone probably couldn't keep the resort going.
 
if any other local can back me up on this it'd be great, but free ski sucked last year!

almost every weekend of freeski was a deep powder day and it got tracked out sooo fast
 
yea, it was nice to leave the hardpack summit ski areas for soft snow so early in the season. I'm sure I'd be hatin' on it too if I still lived there.
 
I will fully back you up, freeski blows. So many people poaching shit before it opens is rediculous. Yes they gave us the season pass line, but not worth the poaching. Horseshoe springs was completely tracked out after a few days of freeski, and it was never open. Why not poach when you get a free ticket? I will pretty much guarantee there is no free tickets this year.
