Meier is giving away a pair of skis to a lucky fan! No Rules except be creative! Why should you win?

How to enter:

- Email handmade@meierskis.com

- Include a video, story, essay, pictures or any other thing you can think of to try to convince Meier Facebook Fans why you deserve a pair of free skis

- The 5 most liked entries will make the finals. It's time you get creative!!

- If you don’t enter, you can’t win, so get going!!

The fine print:

-one entry per person

-you must “like” the Meier Facebook Page

-must recieve at least 20 likes for a chance of making the finals so share the crap out of your entry

-final 5 entries will each recieve a Meier swag package

-grand prize winner will be chosen by the most likes by our Facebook fans during the final

-winner may choose any of our ski models

-skis will be available prior to the 2014/15 ski season

EXAMPLES TO GET YOU THINKING

- I hucked this huge air and broke my K2's and need some new sticks......

- My girlfriend pawned my sweet Atomics to buy a new thighmaster.....

- I'm allergic to Chinese products and need some Made in the USA rockstar sticks.......

I wish new ski brands would hold creative/funny contests instead of the standard FB "get the most likes so all your friends look at our product" gig.

Taking the time to make a fun contest makes a better impression on people and helps set the brand apart from all the rest.

They've been a member since September of 2012 and its hard for me to imagine that as a freeski company they aren't familiar with NS.

The whole point of them holding this contest is so people get to know who they are. My question is, what new things are you guys bringing to the market?
 
I'm entering. I'm currently trying to ride park with a pair of broken racing skis, so yeah...Also, I'll be giving away my current skis to my friend if I win.

Here I sit, in need of skis, and you present to me this offer.

An offer that sounds too good to be found so should I even bother?

How do I know you aren't skier Joe in your mom's basement?

How can I tell your skis work well without needing to buy a replacement?

I guess what I would miss, after all's said and done, isn't all that vital.

I would choose to lose only time I could use studying for finals.

The benefit of the doubt, I'll give you,

Due to your lack of fame.

But before I can accept your offer,

How the hell do you pronounce your name?

I guess I'll think of something.

I'll dig into my wit.

Can't say I'm very creative though.

I have no clue what to submit!

Yeah but its a solid customer base. This is the reason that they're coming on here - they realize that there are actual people who actually buy skis on Newschoolers. So we're helping them get acquainted.

I'm going to go ahead and agree with this comment.

As a matter of fact, the less that people are whiny little bitches about companies giving away FREE SKIS - the more I can go out and get deals to give away MORE FREE SKIS.

So come on.... sack up and stop being a bitch. This mini-contest is awesome.

Hey everyone thanks for all of your awesome entries. Great videos and stories, we've all enjoyed every one of them! For those of you on the fence don't hesitate much longer as tomorrow is the last day to enter.

Ecstaski - Yeah man, even though you are in Australia you can enter. So since today is Friday for you and Thursday for us, you actually have one extra day but exactly the same amount of time as everyone else to enter.

Just looked at their park ski: 123-83-123 with rocker and a listed turn radius of 16/18m (depending on length). I envision them looking something like the ON3P Spatula concept:
