Free Ipods/Ipod Shuffle

Hey people, this is corny I know, but i busted my ass last season and my mp3 player along with it, and now i'm in college paying $20,000/year and making less than 10% of that. I found this site that is legitimate (just visit http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2004Aug/gee20040819026544.htm and read the review) and gives you a free Ipod. There are a number of things that you can get from them, but I'm going after the Ipod. What you do is:

1) Sign up using this link: Ipod - http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=23347663

Ipod shuffle - http://ipodshuffles.freepay.com/?r=23417858

2) Sign up correctly for any of the offers. I suggest the RealRhapsody thing. It's only $0.99, you get instant credit, and you can cancel at the end of the month.

That gets me my Ipod, but if you want your own you must refer 5 people (3 for Ipod shuffles) of your own (I suggest friends and family and call it a "Christmas Present") and have them sign up for an offer also. I know there are skeptics out there that say that you'll get junk mail and all that. They probably will try, but if you or you e-mail provider has a good junk-mail filter than you'll be fine (i havent had any problems yet.

I know this is lame to do, but we all know what it's like to ride without tunes if you're used to it. So help a fellow freerider out and quite possibly yourself. Thanks ahead of time!
 
ok, thats your opinion, i'm just seeing if anyone will help me out. i dont know if you know what its like to be in college on no income but its not a walk in the park. i havent driven my car in 5 weeks because i cant afford to fill the tank up.

you probably have class 3 days a week, maybe 4. you could work sometime.
 
1) i am in college, in a dorm, so internet came with room and board

2) i'm carrying 20 credits and have class from 8-7:30 every day of the week (no lie) so a job is out of the question, or i would.

No problem. Come on guys someone help him out. I think alot more people on here should be doing this. If we all started signing up for each other i'd say a huge chunk of NS population would be skiing and listen to tunes all day long. I'd sign up but I have a po box, so someone help him out.

oh, by the way

i just bought a 15 inch powerbook, and then got an email about 3 days later that the batteries have been recalled, and apple wil NOT warranty it, so fuck apple.
 
that has what to do with this? recalls are usually the responsibility of the company (apple). Unless they didn't produce their own batteries. I dont see any reason why they wouldnt replace the battery. Maybe they just mean that they won't warranty damage done to the system by a faulty battery, but i would think that they would pay to replace the battery. The same sort of thing has happend with the AC adapters of both the Xbox and PS2, in both cases no cost was covered by the consumer.
 
nope, i got fucked in the ass by apple beause i bought one of there "refurbished" models. the only thing wrong with it that they replaced was a broken key. they wont fix the dam battery now if it blows up or something because i bought it refurbished
 
Although posting a link like that in a message board (especialy an off topic like this) is incredibly trashy that particular site is legit. Just use a yahoo adress though because you will get spam.

i did this and it worked...but your not gonna get people on here to help you out...dont you have any real friends that will do it for you..thats the only way itll get done.
 
nobody's got a credit card or a check card that they can sign up for an offer with here. i have 7 people singed up, but doing an offer is a different story. There's no way to tell if they've done it or not since it takes so long for credit to appear.
 
UPDATE!! the realrhapsody thing gives you instantaneous credit. I mean instant. It came up immediately after i did it saying that i got credit for it. now seriously all i need is for people to do the offers. I have 7 people singed up by they havent completed any offers. remember i will give you 3 bucks if you sign up for it. Unless you want me to sign up one and give you a referral!
