You are telling all of us this is the event of a lifetime and that we HAVE to make it. I can speak on behalf of myself as well as many others that we are broke poor uni/college kids pickin dimes off the sidewalk just to buy KD to get by day to day. I have no idea how your budget is doing for this festival, but I think it would a great idea to come up with a contest for members to participate in and the winners could score a trip? Im really just thinking aloud, members, mods, admins please share your thoughts as well.

Also.. SG or SD.. i posted in SG just for more views, place there where ever it belongs.
 
For most NSers the real cost is in the plane tickets and that's something NS can't give away for free and I odn't think most people here would be willing to pay 500$+ to fly across the continent because because they won 100$ tickets.
 
they could let someone stay with them and pay for food and tickets. that would make it half the price, i can't go regardless.
 
I already booked my flight dude. I'm there on wednesday night late until tuesday morning early. Stoked!

I don't know if the powers that be are planning any such contests a la NS bitch, but keep your eyes on the news page, because you never know... it sounds like the sort of thing they'd do.

word. Me and my buddy really wanna go this year seeing as we will both be 18. Only problem is I can't spend a good portion of my summer earnings or I got nothing to ski with ......such a dilema(sp).
 
Even a free place to stay would do. I saw the projected cost for the East Coast deal to be under 300 dollars. Honestly, I just dont have 300 bucks to go see ski movies for a weekend.
 
It's not just ski movies, it a weekend of party mayhem in the best party city north of Las Vegas dude.

and as for staying, there are pretty cheap motels on the south shore of Montreal, you can stay there and come back by taxi with fellow southsiders.
 
this would be so sick, im a broke ass motherfucker and plane tickets from montana are not cheap by ne means and if3 is on my to do list before i die!!!!
 
im so glad to live close to montreal... this is one of the only awsome ski related events i can actualy go to.
