Just curious to if there are any other freeheel park skiers in MI, or the Midwest for that matter.

Couldnt for the life of me remember my user name and password, havent been on NS in a while. Saw your post when you first put it up, and wanted to connect so had to start a new account. Yeah, I am a free heel park rider, for about 6 years. I dont alpine at all, used to snowboard but quit cold turkey about 6 years ago. I just cant get enough of tele park riding. Im riding mostly in the lower penn. where you at? UP? heard about someone that rides at MQT that is a good tele park rider. Is this you? I havent found any other tele park riders in this state at all, so I was stoked to see your post. We should hook up and shred for sure. ITs great to ride with alpiners and snowboarders but it would be way cooler to ride with a tele park rider fo sho!! Get back at me!!!

Yup, havent been on here in a long time tho. Check out the Crystal thread, a little info on where we are trying to get parks at crystal to go in the future.
 
well i havent done it in the park yet, but i learned how to free heel over break and feel in love... But i might try to park free heel next year.
 
Good on ya, make sure you can ski tele pretty well before you take it into the park.Its not as stable as alpine especially landing switch. but once you get used to it, no prob. I quit snowboarding after 18years and started teleing. I can relate to that being in love feelin. Keep at it!!
 
yea, it's most likely me, since I don't know of anyone else, hence the thread. I'd totally be down with meeting up, but I'm pretty much stuck in MQT due to school. where do you usually ride at?

If you head up this way, gimme a shout
 
Im riding in the lower, usually at Crystal. would totally come up for superpark but headed out to colorado at the same time. We should def try to hook up and ski next year!
 
totally, depending on if i move back to CO, or if I move back down to the LP.

Know of anyone else in MI pushing the telepark movement?
