Freds Freeride...do not support

Contrary to what I have always said before there is no need to support Freds Freeride unless you want to buy products from a man that lies and shows no respect for his employees or team riders. Oh yeah and the shop had good prices in October but everything has gone back up.

Just a heads-up...Lahoots, Ken Jones, and all the other freeride shops around New England deserve your money and support more than Haskell Thayer owner of Freds Freeride does.

I'm sorry, but as a man who has dealt with Haskel to set up the original Fred's rail jam there at Killington, I have nothing but positive opinions of the man. Your going to have to say, and be much more clear, a lot more than just a simple 'dont support this shop' to me in order for me to encure an opinion change. What did he do, charge you full price? Tell you to leave the store? I just don't have any reason from your post to believe that the man isn't what I know him to be. So try me. Tell us a story

do you work for line b/c you sound exactly like those guys when you do the whole i don't have an opinion so i'm gonna hint at what i'm thinking, but not come out and say it response.

it has this tone of not sticking to one side or another. i know the story of why, but maybe there's nothing more to talk about. i deal w/people to set up stuff all the time and, of course, they're nice to you...they want something. in general, people can only make judgements on what they've experienced.

fluff adam is correct in what he says. if someone wants something from you they always act in an extremly kind manner.

haskell pulled some stuff that was quite unnecessary. i'm not going to go around spitting the story to everyone. i'm going to leave it at he didn't treat his employee or team riders with much respect at all.

and to theprofitjackass. i really can't wait to meet you one day. your mouth just keeps motoring on online, but i doubt you'd say a damn thing to my face. so you keep riding your lil 12 year old skis around the mountains and i'll catch up to you one day.

first, i speak this way in messeges because i am aware of the fact that it is really easy to inturpret (spelling) things differently in this meadium. I used to work with Line. and between those experience, and my degree from college, I find I can be much more productive when I think before I send my thoughts, questions and opinions out into the open for scrutiny.

I dont know if this was made clear in any of my posts, but I just wanted to know what happened so I could form an opinion on the matter. If you say its personal and too long to get into, thats ok, conversation over.

yeah darkside is a sweet shop for everything except skis, the employees are chill too, but if your in CT go to the alpine haus, we are the best in CT
