okay, so i keep a knife on my bedside table incase sum1 tries to break in,and last night i had a dream that sum1 broke in and tried to stab me, so then i stabbed him and when he was fallen to the ground he jigged me in my right hand, i woke up in a sweat and looked at my hand, full'a blood and blood on my sheets. that morning after i took a shower it was a knife cut on my hand, WTF

Yeah I have a glock next to my bed, sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night and run around my apartment naked with my handgun. It makes me feel pretty crazy

you probably subconsciously reached for the knife in your sleep because of the dream and grabbed the blade... actually obiously you did. it's the only possibility. Probably a good call to move the knife out of your reach. I'd never sleep with something like that so close to me, i move around too much in my sleep... definitely bound to hurt myself.

my buddy actualy used to sleep with a knife under his pillow (back in the high school days, were it's cool to pretend to be tough). One day his mom walked in and woke him up and it startled him. He almost stabbed her.

When I was like 4 I had a dream that I fell down and cut my chin and then I woke up in bed with pretty good cut on my chin.

 
there was a guy in my dorm last semseter who was a 4th degree kungfu black belt. and i was taping someguy who was trying to scare the crap out of him in the middle of the night. dude woke up with his hand out like he was holding a knife, apparently that night he hadnt gone to sleep with his knife like he always does. hes from a really bad neighborhood and when hes home he sleeps with a glock under his pillow. since guns arent allowed in the dorm he sleeps holding a combat knife
