FreakOut - Extreme Freeride is out today

i really dont think anyone who skis is going to camp outside a store to get a first copy. give it a few weeks.
 
i got a torrent of the European version a while ago, cause i heard it wasn't going to come out in the US. It was fun but i could only play one level for some reason. I think it was just maybe like the demo unlocked, not the real full version. Depending on how much it is i might get it.
 
What are the grabs you can do? Are the levels ok? Can you go inverted/corked and have it look realistic? Is it realistic at all or what?

I might get this game, just because no matter what, it will probably be better than the current jibberish, and its skiing. Looks hell of a lot better than that sony game too.
 
Its a fun game for sure, lots of hours on that. You do actually get three axis rotation, so you can do misties, rodeo's and lincolns. The grabs suck. They really do. Need more variation here. And the levels are fun - endless deep powder with crazy features. Kinda short levels tho, and they get repetitive... needed to have more of them or longer ones. Also, the way you 'beat' levels is wack, I still have no idea how they determine your score... its almost like doing tricks hurts you more than just speeding through, but then it doesnt...

Overall, fun game, but there are definite ways it could be improved.
 
i played the full game quite a few months ago. i downloaded the demo, but then randomly found a crack that unlocked everything. fun game, but a lot is not right with it. if you combined it with jiberish, it would be amazing. worth playing though.
