Yeah, the band has blown up in the last couple of weeks, but their stuff has been on indie radio and video sites/stations/channels for like, ever. I gotta get the cd...

This is totally off topic, but im looking to find out the name of a track that i saw a video for. Im not sure if it was Franz, but the video had a dude playing beside himself... and they were both singing on a split screen. I think it was an english band, and one of the split screens the dude was a total crooner.... if anyone has any idea who this band is or what track it was, reply to this nukka!

i still like the CD as a whole though, dont get me wrong.. i still find they are a sick band but if you actually look at the lyrics they are pretty repetitive and short

 
i just tried listening to the lyrics closely last night and they sound kinda like a gay band from teh 80's...the dance with me michael song especially

They are good, but they sound nothing like Modest Mouse, they sound more like a scottish strokes. Take me out sounds a little like Float on, because they both bit the style from the early 80s, like the Talking Heads or Dexy's Midnight Runners (or whatever, Come on Eileen)

 
I've only heard bits of the album but I've got to say it's pretty average. I can appreciate that they can play their instruments alright but the sound is nothing special. Whoever compared them to Modest Mouse, I don't see it at all.
