i am really excited about it, have they released any songs from it yet i never listen to the radio

i've heard a tiny bit of there stuff but it went waaaay over my head, i just didn't see the appeal...but i really only listened once or twice. kind of reminds me of the time my friend bought a steely dan album and we just sat there with our jaws on the ground and projectile vomiting everywhere.

its really an aquired taste, at first i didnt like it at all but then after this one experiance of being uber high and seing the televators performance on SNL i was hooked. quite intense

there was a leak or something, still not going to download it, but it's about as bad as waiting for my local ski-hill to open.

btw what's your problem with the mars volta acls? is it because it's too pretentious or something? or just you don't like it?

 
i got it about 1month ago downloaded. im not really into it. just liked one of the songs off the first album- the single one. cant remember name!

 
If you want something remotly decent why dont you listen to At the Drive In, rather than listening to his subpar other group that has terrbile cover art.

nah, I dont know I was try to through shit around to sound 'music-smart'. Personaly I like the single off Whatever it was called, but I felt the rest of the album sounded very similar to the first three songs. I dont think they are a very good bad personaly.

So stoked for this new album. They have been pushing it back for a while now, but it's gonna be the heat.

yeah, the mars volta rocks. i didn't know that they had a new album coming out, but i heard their new single awhile back on EQX......... sounded good. deloused in the comatorium rocked!

after getting all the songs ive concluded this cd is pretty damn good. cazy that its only 5 tracks and that one track is 31 minutes long but none the less i like it

i love the mars volta, francis the mute is like one long acid trip. i was talking to a guy the other day and we were discussing how they could be the modern pink floyd
