The thread maker is right, which is unfortunate. Most kids have no idea what being a liberal or conservative means. All they know is that republican = evil because that's what comedy central told them.

thank you. and what he wanted to do wasnt possible in even 8 years. his plans where unrealistic and honestly, did you hear of ANYTHING about his plans dealing with our economy? all he talked about was cutting off saudi oil (which would have destroyed many foreign relations and not to mention would have crashed our economy), limiting the government (causing the loss of countless jobs as well as throwing billions of dollars out the window) and i could go on. the guy was an idiot with good intentions. THATS why he didnt come close to nabbing top seat.
 
I highly doubt Ron Paul talked about cutting off Saudi oil - a major part of his economic philosophy is true free trade, and he wanted to repeal trade restrictions across the board, not increase them. Also, downsizing the government doesn't mean the jobs disappear, it means they transition to the private sector.

 
You were stuck in an airport...maybe that's why you didn't like all the people? I feel that way whenever I travel...though sadly I felt much more annoyed when I was in Texas.
