I'm sick of these 2 news channels who talk shit

aboout everything, A good news anchor gets the facts, checks the facts, & verify's the facts again before sayin anything. The stations put out sooo much garbage & have to excuse themselves so often it's not funny. Also they bash Canada, France, Germany, ect just cause we don't join them in their dirty politics, and put more importance into Micheal Jackson than actual news, Anyone else hate them.

If you want to listen to american propoganda then sure, thoser channels are very accurate. I love when a new anchor says something like" I know the basis of our profession is not to be bias, but i can't wait till we win." Got to love that non-liberal media.

my problem with telivision news in general, not just FOX or CNN, is that they take complex and complicated world events and sum them up in 30 seconds or a minute. There is no world even that can be summed up in that short period of time with any accuracy or detail. You cant fit in the background, you cant express the implications, and you certianly cant give all sides of the story in an unbiased way.

After watching the news on telivision, people feel that they are poloticly active and understand world events, when they dont have the smallest idea of whats happening. Its like reading a 1 page long online review for hamlet and saying you understand the play, which is completly and utterly ludacrice.

Telivision news is only makeing everyone who watches a little bit stupider.

Guess what? almost every newspaper/news station/magazine is going to be bias in cater to their consumers. fox news would never champion causes associated with the democratic party in the same way the new york times would never say anything positive about Bush becauses they would lose viewers/subscribers and therefore not make a profit. Also, all tv news has to be sensationalized to draw the average idiot away from the latest episode of "desparate housewives." And dont try to tell me the bbc isnt bias cause its as "balanced" as Jenna Bush coming home from a frat party. If you want some balanced news the Wall Street Journal and the british Economist tend to be decent

 
the bbc may not be perfect, but they are publicly owned, not privatly owned, and because of this they at least try to be a little more rounded. Its not as blantently biased. They also do alot of hour long special reports that go deep into issues that other news stations cover in 1 or 2 minutes. I watched a report on the BBC that woulc have never been aired on CNN or FOX about how the US government manifested the terrorist threat, and that Al quaida was created in a courtroom in manhatten so they could convict bin-ladin of embassy bombings that they would have been unable to do if he wasnt the head of a criminal orginization.

Half joking but half serious... the most non-judgemental news out there is on the daily show. Its really sad, but I like it cuz they look at everything with the same view most people would and they can joke about some more serious issues. And its obvious that Jon Stewart hates the big broadcasting companies too.

the daily show is biased, but if you go to comedy central for your news...god i don't even know what to say if you do. but a good reason for them being very biased is because lefties, like myself, enjoy the humor. the daily show does poke fun at democrats too though, but not nearly as much as they make fun of bush.

I think that it would be funny to make a movie by going on to the streets of America and making a bunch of them look like idiots... that should get them good, and use that video where the guy thinks that all of us dog sled...i think it would be a big hit in canada, but the americans would want me to die.

atleast our schools take the time to teach us about what happens down there, and their schools teach them fuck all about canada. we give them soft wood lumber, oil, Water, and a bunch of other stuff, and still they rag on us, if we stopped giving them stuff, they would for sure dislike that and probibly die out. they need us, and yet they still disrespect us.

www.prisonplanet.com has the BBC report that i mentioned, along with the outfoxed documenty (which is the only one on the site that wont work for me, which sucks) and many other documentries which present facts about the world we live in. Please feel free to log in using the user name "butterthz" and the password "qwertyui". They will work untill the end of april.

If i knew how to make the text bold, i would have done so to the user name and password.

There are alot of shocking things on that site which are backed up by nothing but factual evidence. I highly encourage people to watch some of these things.

why does it sound so stupid to go to comedy central for the news(i dont). have u even seen what the other big stations put out there. Basically what im sayin is that theres no TV station that has a good un-biased news program, so why not CC
