Fourthought clothing.

hey guys, I've been thinking about starting my own custom hoody and T-shirt business for a while now, and it finally looks like things are all lined up. I'm 95% positive im gonna stick with the name fourthought clothing, but im looking for some kind of logo to use. so far all i've come up with is this:

Obviously I'd do some work to make it look prettier, i just threw that together in paint.

since it has the word thought in it you should use the tinking bubble instead of the speaking one
 
I think i know you, i ride at hylands, and sure looks good but maybs a little to simple of a logo
 
you're right. I wonder how many of these pop up each month. I dunno, EC headwear started out this way... but in all seriousness... think about how flooded the clothing market is. What do you have to offer that people can't get from another company? Business plans aren't just for grownups...
 
that logo but with the thought bubble instead, like was already said. then make a bunch of stickers (theres places that will make them cheap) and sell that shit to everyone. get the word out around town with ur stickers and you'll have people lined up for clothes. thats whats goin on with my "clothing company," we just cant find the money to make the shirts or hoodies yet haha
 
I think if you work hard and make nice stuff (like not total shit) you could do well Like T.A.F . think hard and make your clothes different than all others. im not saying start a new trend just dont copy other people.
 
well im 18, and im not looking to start a professional company, yet. im just looking to make one of a kind custom hoodies for people. its something i've wanted to do for a while so i finally decided to do it. i dont expect to make the best most high quality stuff out there but if people like it then thats good. Ill see where it takes me.

Fourthought is kind of a sick name, but it makes me think too much of 4FRNT. like, eventually are people gonna write your logo 4THGHT ..? Just a thought. but still pretty steezy of an idea.

oh and for the logo, you should make it a big thought bubble, but in the shape of the number 4! just somethin to think about.

haha yeah i've already met another one on here! and to those of you that felt it was too close to 4frnt, i thought long and hard about it, and was originally gonna be 4thought but i felt like yeah that would be too much like 4frnt. so yeah i realize there is a small similarity but im really trying hard to be my own company. And thanks for all the suggestions guys i really appreciate it. and trippin no offence but insulting a potential client and then PMing them asking for free stuff since your work is so good is no way to start a conversation..

thanks again guys. Once my materials come in and i can really start making hoodies ill be ordering some di-cuts and might try my hand at some bandanas that would come free in matching colors with hoodies.

..anyways. big thanks for the help guys. if anyone else is a graphic designer or does make logos im open to suggestions, i know i kinda suck at it. PM me!
 
I did them on paint in about 10-15min

I was just showing him how easy it is to do alot better even with a limiting program such as paint and in very little time chill my little "insert color of the sun here" friend.
 
i thought of fourthought instead of more of a speaking style thought box like you had maybe like a cloud style. i jsut made a super quick one just to give yea a idea but great start for sure!

Thanks for the help everyone but following some of your suggestions and after much deliberation, i've decided to change the name to Dilated Clothing, I've created a cult named that, go check it out if you're interested in a custom made hoodie
