We are stoked to announced this years Beartooth Summer Session! Going down June 5th-8th at Beartooth Basin, south of Red Lodge, MT. Come out for a weekend filled with skiing, camping, friends, general debauchery, and way too much fun.

This years event is looking to go OFF. Beartooth Basin is reporting the most snow they have seen in 10 years and we will be out there putting in an expertly crafted park before hand just for YOU! So tell us, what features do YOU want to see in the park?

As in years past, we will be offering discounted lift tickets throughout the session ($40 for lift accessed skiing 9am-3pm) and of course the Booster Strap Big Mountain Slopestyle on Saturday, June 7th (entry included in the price of that days lift ticket).. We've got thousands of dollars of gear to win from companies like Booster Strap, ON3P, Outdoor Tech, Saga, NWT3K, Flylow, and more. We are planning on doing a raffle, and general swag toss so everyone has a chance to walk away with something.

**ENTRIES WILL BE LIMITED** **FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA FOR REGISTRATION UPDATES**

For those of you 21+, Lagunitas Brewing will be putting on an after party in Red Lodge after the comp on that Saturday (location TBA).

That was the hardest question I've had to answer all week.

On a more serious note, this looks like such a rad event! We'll be sending out a handful of NS journalists, photographers, and producers to cover the event... and help you guys drink a lot of beer in the sun.

Be sure to check out Abe Krieger's video of last years Third Annual Beartooth Summer Session!

So stoked! Bringing a large crew from Big Sky and sounds like a bunch of bozeman shredders will be there too

everyone was throwing down last year, skiing is gnarly as fuck... ill show up again thanks for putting this together kip and on3p + sponsors

There was no "all" option so I just went with Eheath shirtless for the obvious reason

Seriously though if I had the funds I would go. Looka sick af

Shipping out a big box of goodies and prizes for the event today. This alone will make it worth your while.

Where do we all stay?

I think we talked on email but I am posting here for anyone else wondering. We just camp in the woods on the Red Lodge side of the pass. There are some Forest Service campgrounds where you can pay and camp but I suggest just finding a spot in the woods. There is also a few motels in Red Lodge.

stoked for this! I'm going to be out in seattle/portland before this- anyone driving out from that around area? Worst case scenario i'll fly, but down to throw in good vibes & gas money :)

really hoping i can go again, so much fun, camping and skiing, headwall laps! jumps! campfire cooking! whatever features you come up with will be alright, just make sure there's a decent sized jump.

Hyped to finally get to attend and lead some road laps.

If you haven't considered it, this may be the most fun you've had in June. Ever.

^hyped to drive out and back with you and get some well needed david time, it's been to long buddy

this made skiing at timerline seem like skiing on a bunny hill, 100% worth the drive from wherever you are, it's unlike any where else.

Forget your special spot in the jungles of Govy or that dumpster in Whistler. Because this event is so awesome, here's some quick info about what I consider to be some of the best ski base car camping ever.

As you can see from this image, the Epic Camping Zone is located right along side Rock Creek. There are two official camp grounds there with fire rings and places to park trailers and lovely pit toilets if you want to camp in style or you don't want to drive the ruts and rocks to get further up. There's certainly a daily fee for camping there.

However, the best camping is located further up. You'll go through the campground, head up on a dirt road, and go up the valley. As you make your way along, you'll move back into the forest, and the spots will be obvious--places to pull out, trees to hang your hammock, Rock Creek singing merrily behind you. Be sure to use spots already made up, use existing fire rings, clean up your trash, and poop at least 200ft from the water in a cat hole, because this is an awesome place and people after you want to have a nice time camping there too. And if you don't, we'll send someone to shoot you. It's free, there's no amenities (so bring your grill, water or a purifier, and make sure to shop in Red Lodge or elsewhere before you head up), and it's perfect.

Hope to see you there.

This is a total shot in the dark but I wanted to reach out and see if anyone is driving out / knows someone driving out to Beartooth from the PNW who has a little bit of extra room for one more pair of skis.

I'll be out in Hood, then Portland / Bellingham / Seattle (and am flying from Seattle to Bozeman for the sesh), but if anyone in one of those areas would allow me to drop my skis of at their place to transport to Red Lodge to save on checked baggage cost in exchange for some cash, or better yet a couple of beers, tha'd be rad.

Stoked, see ya there!

More coming real soon, but in addition to this year's Big Mountain Slopestyle, we're going to have a Backflip-Off in honor of the late Timy Dutton. We'll be looking for donations to contribute to the High Fives B.A.S.I.C.S. program and the Dutton family. And anyone who wants to come to Montana, have a blast, do some backflips... and maybe pop in a Snus or 5 (for those 18+ ... hehe), let's do it. Yip Yaw! Donation site here:

Just stopping by to remind everyone that registration opens tonight, at 6 PM Pacific time for the Booster Strap Big Mountain Slopestyle. We have 27 available spots. More info here.

We are stoked to have 22 solid sponsors backing the Beartooth Summer Session. The collaboration of all the brands is what makes an event like this possible.
