When it comes to film it's not about the body at all, it's about the glass. What lens do you have on there 50 f/1.4?

To answer your question, yes, that will be able to properly expose film.

im pretty sure its a 55 f/1.7but thanks for the response, how do i clean it?

im scared to mess anything up

What's dirty?

You can't really mess it up unless you try to force anything or touch the shutter, don't touch the shutter. You can clean the mirror and the lens itself. You might need to buy a new battery so check that out and either ask your dad how to shoot with it or look it up online. It's really simple, loading/rewinding film is the only "difficult" part.

well its been sitting for about 30 years so its dusty and what not but when i turn the leaver to get the film ready it only goes like half way. Could this be from the fact the film in it is 30 years old?

haha alright, thanks for the postim also wondering where i could get slr lenses, i figure my best bet would be some garage sales but are there any sites that sell them?

just talk to your conselour you could probably get in second semester, but also just look at a film guide online its pretty easy to learn
