Drifting in Forza 2 was by far the best, maybe not as far as physics and graphics go, but in that game there were no 'drift points', people who wanted to have drifting comps set up battles on sections of the track that were either based off drifting comps in real life, or at least a similar amount of corners as a real course would. There were also judges set up in each corner to judge participants on speed, style, line, and sometimes on closeness (depending on the rules). None of this going around the entire course just seeing how many 'points' you can get
I didn't read every post in this thread, but I stopped playing Xbox right before Forza 4 came out, so I really hope this more realistic type of drifting comps still exist in Forza 4, because it's so much more fun and a lot more challenging
(oh, and back in Forza 2, if you drifted an AWD car in a drifting lobby, you got your face ripped off from people who considered it 'not real drifting')
