its about that time of year that the newest batch of ski movies are getting wrapped up...so here is the latest shout from L1P.
As of aug 27th we're holed up in the Level 1 cave deep beneath Boulder, CO, quickly losing the summer tan trying to get this movie out to everyone.
After another year of shooting with the raddest talent you could ask for, and now nonstop editing into the wee hours, heres what we got to bring you.
Unless you're a hermit you probably heard of names like Dave Crichton or Simon Dumont having pushed the envelope last season. at least they did in their video parts anyway. Dave took urban skiing to a level only matched by some snowboarding heavyweights, proceeded to get broken off for 3 months, only to return to film some of the most progressive jumping witnessed. Simon slayed the pipes, comps, and QPs around the world...mixed in with some epicly epicol backcountry jumping and rails...and this makes a break through part. and to make this movie fresher than the prince...add in some liam downey, peter olenick, and steele spence. Liam came out of VT to create an incredibly well rounded highlight part that you will only see in Forward. his breed of segment is why you wanna watch this video. Pete and Steele slay it in their own style...yup. And this ain't all folks. In the L1P way we've got the youngblood skiing of emil coty, derek finn, hibbert, john symms, and more doing what it is they do.
It should turn out to be one super flick. the filming is on the highest level, editing more original that ever, rad trips to Newfoundland, the urban eastern seaboard, and western backcountry, and some quality entertainment that should highly amuse. As well as a DVD packed to the brim with special features.
We want it to be FRESH.

A FORWARD world premiere is going off in Boulder in October as well, along with others scattered across the country. The vid should be out and shipping in late September, and i realize it is a tease telling you all this a month away...but it should be bitchin.
