Fortune has just finished blowing more snow than ever before on a single run! Park construction begins tomorrow and will hopefully be completed by tuesday night. Although not all features will be ready by wednesday, most will.
As it stands right now there will essentially be two paths you can take down skiers' right of Marshall, which is where the park will be. Closest to the trees will be the jump line. The jump line will include one wedge tabletop where last years jump was, followed by another table on the flats, with the last pitch as its landing. The next line will basically be a rail line that will include, as of now, the coffin box, flat down box (it will be set up on the same knoll as the first big table and will be beside the medium table, which is just to the left of the first big table). After the flat down box, there will be a hip/table jump with a hip landing to the right, then the c boxes setup together, followed by the down flat down rail (set up on the same knoll as the final table). And finally the park will end with the new 16' by 10' wall ride.
Peewee will also have some beginner and other rails.
There will not be park passes, but the whole park will be fenced off and park maintenance staff can give people the boot if they aren't following the rules.
Get out there wednesday and see how you like the setup and give some feedback, before everything becomes completely frozen in place. The setup promises to have nice flow with a variety of staple features.
