What would everyone like to see in Fortune's park for 05/06? Put down a list of some reasonable features in order of preference please. Spanks

30 ft down rail

long flat box,

long flat down box (and high)

i guess they have a dfd rail from last year?

so that is good.

big flat down rail

Yea I think that more than 2 jumps would be nice, maybe a bit better flow and upkeep would do it good. Some rails wouldn't hurt, I don't know, just more/better stuff than last year.

I'd love a good long flat box that's not on too steep ground, good for learning.

A flat-down box would be awesome as well.

a clearable hip, and a quality table.

good stuff so far. a pipe is for sure what we want to see, but only if it can be done right, and at this point in planning i don't know if it would be worthwile. although, sudermans said they would consider it depending on how early season snow conditions go...keep the suggestions coming

i know cat time is very expensive, but i think it would be really awesome if the park was groomed on a more consistant basis. Last year it seemed to go days on end without being maintained. Although when it was the main jump was pretty much all you could ask for, considering the size of the hill.

a halfpipe would be excellent. but if not...a quarter?

Another problem too was when they did groom it, it was usually everywhere BUT the feature. They needed the park staff out there more and doing a better job fixing the takeoffs.

Anyone interested in a job as part of the park staff? E-mail me or my brother if so.

good pipe if do-able, but if not, don't bother wasting the time and resources.

2 good tables or step-downs

large rainbow or teacup rail.

A 40 footer is mandatory, and its gotta be maintained

20 foot flat bar

roller coaster

pipe

spine/hip

long c-box

Uh.....What class do we have?

Mr. Law

what?

I forgot

its got to have flow. and a variety of sizes for jumps boxes and rails. and most importantly its got to be maintained on a regular basis. and we dont want instructors bringing their kids in there and somehow manage to keep the small kids from using the jumps onto the rails as jumps.

oh and rails should be set up street styles, no drops to rail and no ride ons (boxes are acceptable for ride ons, as long as the kicker spans at least the width , if not more)

I havn't skied Fortune in 3 years, and I can't wait!

Keep the 40 footer, and have it maintained more often as said before.

Get a flat down rail, 10-20.

up box?

and if the halfpipe happens, think about putting the coffin box on the deck of the pipe near the lip... wallridage.

thats all i can think of. the rest is mentioned above.

heres my theory. marshall is obviously not the longest run in the world. so alot of features would mean alot of crowding. however if we set up something with alot of flow. say three jumps in a row set up down the hill. and to maximize all of our space throw in a jib or two at the sides of the jumps. this would hopefuly promote flow through the park. reducing the amount of people sliding down landings trying to session single features, which really ices things up.

solid 15 foot table for novice,

at least a 40 foot table (if possible)

instead of a half pipe make a quarter pipe it would be way easier to maintain

any rail and box is good, but a 12 foot flat bar, for learning the basics for rails is essentiial. MOST OF ALL A PARK PASS TO STOP ALL THE NOOBS FROM CARVING THROUGH. ITS DANGEROUS!

Hey.. I think most of the trouble with the park last year was the run Itself. You had to speed check far to much, for the boxes and the landings were steep on the top boxes were nice, but the snow disapears really quickly. If we had the entire Marshall run, It may be suitable. However there is no way they would allot that as Marshal is the only "green" route down from that chair, and without it, where would all the lessons and beginers go from the top? Likely still right through the park, where we dont want them.

At the begining of last year they had a very small setup under the chair with 3 jibs, although very small, It seemed to flow not badly, and the ice wasnt so teriable. mostly because of the size. None of Fortunes boxes or rail need alot of speed. so the steeper the hill the more speedcking, the less flow, and less snow remains on the landings.

I personaly feel the best spot, sadly, enough would be the skiers left side of pineau. It gets more sun, has more trickable, terrain, and flow for box/rail setups. It is also easier to pick up school girls. Most truely fun parks, are on are tame slope. Bigger hits can be worked in amungst smaller ones, to keep flow and speed up.

If all else fails tremblant is only an 1.7 hours away

^ though pineau is an ideal spot, the ski school wont allow it. that hill is completely overrun by skiing classes.

More space needs to be alocated to it.

It needs to be maintained more by the mountain.

Organize some camps or events...

It needs to suck way less...

CAMP FORTUNE DON'T YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE CLOSEST TO OTTAWA AND COULD DO SOMETHING SPECIAL WITH NIGHT RIDING...

ENOUGH WITH RACING CRAP, THEY DON'T EVEN MAY FOR HILLSPACE WITH FULL PRICE TICKETS. AT LEAST US STUNTDITCHERS PAY FULL POP FOR OUR TIX.

GET WITH THE TIME,,, WE PAY FULL POP AND ARE WILLING TO DRIVE TO mss CAUSE YOUR PACK SUCKS.

ya i think a good quaterpipe instead of a half pipe. Nice jump as said before aroudn 40ft, and probably 20ft for beginers. some nice rails and boxes, maybe a rainbow rail?? and what about the possibilty of a wall ride?? that is what i think would be nice
