Just visited there this weekend and it seems way chill. My oldest brother goes there and he likes it too, so im seriously considering applying. Any input from any fort Lewis students like what to expect/look out for/anything else?

One of my good friends started there this semester and I've heard nothing but good things about it out of him.

I just graduated in the spring and all I can say is the fort is awesome. Durango is a badass mountain town with tons of stuff to do. Epic backcountry skiing, the school is laid back, and everyone here is nice.

Just started freshman year here. I love it, couldent picture myself anywhere else. The mountains are 30 mins up the road, there is always something to do. Everybody here is awesome.

FYI, If you do end up coming here, apply for the Bader/Snyders

Yeah I snooped around Bayter/Snyder when I was there. Seems chill over there, like a whole separate community. Why do you like it?

Definitely recommend checking it out. I came down here almost 10 years ago for school. Have since graduated and chillin. Work at one of the local ski shops. Durango is a very laid back place. Most people who love the outdoors thrive here. If you are not into the outdoors you probably won't last the entire year. Purgatory isn't the best mountain in the world, but there is tons of fun to have there. It is covered in rollers and the entire mountain is a natural feature if you look at it right. Silverton is 45 min north and epic. T-Ride is only two hours away. Wolf Creek is just under two hours and averages more snow in the state than anywhere else. If you have any specific questions drop a message.
