Forrmula vs Take 3

NS, answer me this. the thread for Take 3 has 3x as many responses as the thread for forrmula. subjetively, forrmula is noticeably better than take three. was forrmula just so good that theres no room discussion, or is ns straight up not core enough to go buy forrmula and talk about it?

P.S. Take 3 was pretty insane, no disrespect, but forrmula was something else entirely.

I think it’s that most people aren’t willing to buy forrmula. I personally didn’t but it’s because I got the privilege to see it in person. I do think forrmula is better tho. The level of skiing in take 3 just doesn’t compare to forre. Both are fantastic tho. When it comes to films rewatch value plays a big role and take 3 100% has that. I’ve watched it 4 times already.

I liked forrmula more imo, little shorter but straight bangers. Wish take 3 had name cards in the vid, kinda hard to keep track of everything when you aren’t familiar with the crew and all kinda blends together in my head, trying to think back nothing really stands out, whereas forrmula I’m immediately like “damn harald fucked that shit up and mainio’s ender was dope”

All jokes aside, Forrmula was sick bc there were so many technical tricks that came out so clean and the cinematography was by far more professional. Take 3 had more mellow but steezy tricks, and it’s more of a home movie vibe.

But fr this is like comparing apples to oranges. Both movies were sick in their own ways, now go back to rewatching them over and over.

Not really comparable in my opinion. I think formula seems more polished and precise with the editing and execution of the skiing and loved every second of it but tbh what I enjoy the most is the rawness and the shots and how messy take 3 is that’s the style I usually prefer. Also really liking the music in take 3

Update I rewatched forrmula with more attention and I love both equally just differently

Take 3 was dope but didn't hold my attention near as well as Forrmula. A little too long and segments bled together too much. Don't get me wrong, it was still a super dope vid. 8/10, but Forrmula was 10/10.

Also I was mildly disappointed by the Hacker segment, but that's only because Hacker is one of my favorite songs of all time and anyone other than Jesus Christ skiing to it would probably not live up to it in my mind
