Also way more people are gonna see that on the gram if ur a nobody. People aren’t tryna grind street clips to then get 17 views on YouTube. I don’t necessarily support the short attention span and quick satisfaction that Instagram brings but let people do whatever they want ya feel? I tend to post pon di gram bc like said previously it’s a wider audience. If I were to post something just to NS or YouTube it would basically never be seen….

on Instagram I can share w all my friends, family, and find a larger regional/ski focused audience.

Ya i ski by myself 80% of the time and usually strictly post the few clips i get on the gram or newschoolers because im not going pro nor doing anything ground breaking just fucking around at my local. I agree with weast on the street edit thing those have no business being on instagram. I also really dont like the excessive posting from a lot of "instagram skiers", feels like they're crying for attention. Fuck it dude you're overthinking it no ones mad at you.

Yeah i post like a clip everyday but i don’t really care about views and likes i just try to be entertaining for the people that likes my skiing (im working on edit behind that tho)

I know for a lot of people it’s gotta be an ego thing. Wise words of a good friend,

”most people only post on Instagram to make them feel good about themselves”.

Which is the damn truth, I’ve even posted clips or a little insta edit here and there when I’m bored or feeling shitty lol. Never even thought about it as a whole until then.
