Ford Ranger Challenge

I was watching some thing on tv today called the Ford Ranger Challenge, held down at Copper Mountain. It was by far one of the most entertaining ski events I have ever seen. They had a height jumping contest, which was absolutely sick....the guys made it to 23 feet straight up and over a rope/tape? and the landing was harsh. Witnessed some of the most harsh landings, and disgusting air ever. Try to find a rerun of it...it was on KOMO 4 Seattle.

yeah man that was great.. GT throwin down.. i think they should have landed to make it to the next height.. i think the coolest part was when the other guy went up and just as her was goin over hit the pole and it made him do a 3.. then he almost hit a camera man.. crazy shit.. there was some other snowboard crap which i didn't watch too

Smoking pot leads to uhh... I forget.
 
I knew the step up was a little bit of a crazy idea. I guess if the landing was huge and proper and all that it could be hella tight but that setup was just obviously sketched ass.

that step up was kinda sketchy, not the landing youd expect when youre 23 feet up, i found only one thing annoying, that one guy who kept on coming on talking about Ford no boundaries, that was total bs

Dude, that guy is the type of guy that allows us to have those events. he's the shit as far as I'm concerned.

yes that is true, but Ford had my attention with them jumping over the truck in the big air and the ford sings plastered all over, the nerd just set me off, but thats why god created other channels, so you dont have have to watch the same crap all the time

I was at Copper the day of the contest and the practice round. The tricks off the big air contest werent as clean as Jon Olsson or Tanner Hall but they were still sick. The step up was nuts. I stood next to that thing an it was fuckin straight up. I talked to GT after he did it an me an him went riding. He said its so pretty scarry an he didnt wanna think how high he was. I got pics with him. hes so tight just like every other pro out there

they had the competition the one weekend i didnt go up. i was so pissed. i wanna see this on tv, anyone know if it'll be on in colorado?
