Is this based on salary alone, or does it include endorsements, bonuses, etc? I feel like that could change things.
 
without nike sb p rod wouldnt be on that list. which is sad because he is the best skater on that list.
 
true but nike pays him bank and it works for both sides. He makes a fair amount from contests and other sponsors too
 
i really dont think he has money like you think. i mean have you seen his place in wherever the fuck it is? its tiny. sure he has a lambo, but its his only car. and his sponsors pay for so much. travel, rentals etc.
 
sheckler is a really good skater. douchebag? sure, but hes definitely not bad at skating.
 
theres not a ton of money in contests and its not like he has any other huge sponsors. nike atheletes make bank, just look at danny kass.

xgames and dew tour are a fair amount and the maloof money cup was $100k. Its not near the money nike pays but it is a ton compared to what "normal" skaters pull in
 
Just because he owns it, doesnt mean it actually makes any money. DC has gone corpo. He doesnt own shit there, Even ken block, former founder, is an employee. From what i heard, rob is in debt.
 
that car probably only costs under 200G's, and his place is tiiiiny. not sure how much rent is in monaco though, but if you look at his life, its really not thaaaaaaaaaaat lavish. hes barely home at all during the year, and im pretty sure his sponsors pay for shelter and food on his trips
 
when i think about it it seems that no action sports athlete would ever really need to be paid this much. a good part of the year their sponsors are paying for everything they do so what do they need money for? obviously for a house and what not for the off season but these athletes pretty much have all expenses paid AND a huge paycheck.
