the quite frankly refers to my middle sentence, which was "im not surprised at all." if i was including lloyd xmas in my third sentence, i wouldve used, "everyone," not "anyone," which implies i have not found a subject that i am speaking of yet. you guys really need to learn how to read and write

how the fuck is hawk a little low. if anything, its a little high. he makes more than most sports stars and actors, and is way less well known. yeah hes an entrepreneur, but his company isnt THAT big. hell he makes more than most A list actors, who only make probably ~10 mil for a yearlong production

kass runs grenade, but grenade is a tiny tiny company. ONLY people in action sports know what it is

prod seemed a little high to me too, not gonna lie, i didnt know nike paid him so much

That is kind of shocking that only 10 people in all of action sports made more than a mil last year. I would think Rob Dyrdek might be somewhere close with the way he tosses money
 
There isn't as much money in the action sports industry as one would hope.
In regards to companies, unless you are the sole owner of quicksilver (who owns 70% of the market share) you don't make that much money compared to other retailers.
Also it is one of the lowest paid sports industries because the target audience is very specific and no where near as large as golf or baseball.
But think about it, if you looked at it as an hourly wage, to make $1,000,000 a year before taxes is near $500 an hour for a 40 hour work week.
 
ehhh.. my english teachers who asked to publish my thesis last year and my 3.5 cumuative gpa beg to differ. i'm assuming we both go to university (please, hopefully)... i'm not questioning your dissection of the english language, just your common sense. you're a joke, kid. bye.

We excluded Motocross racing, which straddles the line between action sports and motor sports and top riders like Chad Reed and James Stewart can make as much as $5 million racing around a dirt track.
All of these numbers are estimates and most people would not consider skiing a "traditional action sport." That being said, there isn't much money in action sports.
 
my 2130 on my sats, my 32 on my acts, and my perfect 12/12 on my sat essay beg to differ. your 3.5 gpa constitutes how hard you try, not necessarily how smart you are. i know how to write, i know what words to pick, i know what syntax and diction to use. and by the way, my MULTIPLE model essays in my school are being used for a MODEL for future students, i think, once again, i know how to write

as for the salaries seems right. i would've thought dyrdek would be on there with his DC and Monster sponsers, and his t.v shows. im probably wrong tho.

Now back to the original topic, id say the numbers look about right give or take 1 mil either way, although Hawk may be making a bit less. i dont think he endorses THAT many products nowadays, but then again, i havent been following skateboarding all that much in recent years.

im suprised prod isnt higher. and im surprised rob dyrdek isnt on there, he plays a huge part in DC, hes got whatever the fuck his clothing company is called, an mtv show, and i believe hes part owner of AWS as well
