huge fan of john frusciante myself, and not to hate on josh (he and john have collabed a ton on john's solo work and it's very good) but the last few albums have not been 'rhcp' to me, or even good
i'm thankful john decided to go back, and shocked that it's actually happening. he barely has touched a guitar in the last decade it seems, glad he changed direction
