well in my art class we just learned how to draw using 2 and 3 point perspective and started a little assignment today. its a simple assignment just draw a picture using 3 point perspective. Basically everyone is drawing sky divers falling from the sky and you can see the rooftops of the skyscrapers below but i want to do something good. Im alreayd a day behind because i couldnt think of any good idea's. Can you guys help me out with idea's for a simple but effective 3 point drawing.
 
what about a skiier's point of view looking down at the mountain as if he was standing at the peak.

his view of all the trees and cliffs and rocks....

is that good or did i miss the point of 3 poin perspective?
 
I do 4-point for fun. Now on ideas? I don't know because I'm not you. I just mess around with it. You could try to make a terrain park or something.
 
top of the mountain.. skiier going down the fall line.. trees and cliffs yeah, little ski town at the base. (like from the sky point of view)?
 
skier looking down on an urban. should be easy as fuck to do with 2 point perspective since there will be a bunch of straight edges from buildings and shit
 
nah that first one would actually be one point. Im straying away from doing a terrain park or soemthing because its a bit harder than im capable of doing. i was thinking of sticking to buildings as they are the easiest. here are some exaples of 3 point.

I would just make up some buildings. Curves arent hard if you know how to do them, but if you dont know how to construct them, I would stay away from them. Just search on line for either city skylines or just draw a group of buildings.

Stay away from moutnains and shit like that. It's not really pratical for a 3 pt perspective.

Good buildings that would be fun to draw..

^^ thanks those are great and i was considering doing the second one until i remembered we need a figure in the picture to be the point of intrest( a person or vehicle) thats why those people are doing skydiving and shit.
 
german pavillion is too low, i think, to make a good 3 point perspective, unless you had some crazy vanishing points to make it work (like if you were an ant).

but it would be pretty sweet and easy.

perhaps you could show the interior to some building, like... i dont know. it might get a bit more complex, but it could still be nice.
