For Willem, and the Others Scared Ski Season is Ending

hiked up alta today (wednesday) at around 4:30 got to the top of the run we were doing at like 5:45 and got to ski it. 6 inches of fresh easy. Amazing turns, and the slush under hasn't yet turned to ice so the surface was really nice. Wear your beacons and shit things were sluffing all over the place, no slabs at all from what I saw but some decent sized sluffs were releasing. So much fun though, should keep snowing till monday.

 
I just got back from the alta area again. It was like 22 at alta, bird is saying 17 or 18. The snow was so nice, but be careful, everything was sliding. I have a few slide videos Im going to put up a little later.

ehhh chris i donno what you're talking about i just got back and the snow was the heaviest i've skied since i've been here. such a buzzkill.
 
Well Jeff, I was at the mountain at 8:15 and waiting for the lifts to open, because I honestly have nothing better to do with my life/day... so it was good snow then, but yea I left at 12 because it started to blow.

you don't even want me to tell how sick my day at the bird was today. props to the fool who was in line at 8:15, I was there too, all brown? first few peeps into mineral? yah that was sick. and I didn't even mention tiger tail, untracked face shots everywhere? yea that was kristie, orin, and I.
 
why can't i complain? i heard everyone talking about how epic it was, so i was expecting some dope snow, of course i should have known better since it's fuckin May. i was disappointed cause i thought i'd have some more time to hit some pow booters and i got there and the snow was wet as hell and we couldn't hit shit.

obviously i'm stoked on the snow but people talking about it gave me the wrong impression, so shut the fuck up.
 
uh.. I had on baby blueish pants, a khaki jacket, and an orange bandana. Dont know if I saw you or not, but there were some aweosme things up. Cliff drop to tree bonk way over on the little cloud side, super fun.

Sunday there should be some sort of NS Gathering or something gay, Im fucking tired of riding with only snowboarders.
 
haha of course, blue is in. I think I noticed you in the morning. there were only like 10 people in line when I got there. I talked to some rossi rep until they opened the lift. little cloud was sick too, I was the only one hitting the wave, then they closed all that shit. fuckers, I wanted one more long ass pow run down tiger tail.

set up a time and location for sunday and I'll meet some peeps. we can go start some NS carnage.

 
holy wow this is counting down fast. I look at this thread to know haha. I havea boner thinkiing about sesssing with Sam too. OOOOOHHHHHyeaaaa
