it aint hard to get used to the guns.. its effin awsome i love it... i played it for so long today if i could have skipped school i would have played it all day.. as soon as thursday rolls around i am playing it all day... hells yeah... for all of you that own it how far did you get there was one part that got me confuzed which was the part where that thing kept movin up and down i didnt know where to go i stayed there for 10 mins before i found the door

yeah a bunch of my friends got it. its so sweet. even the welcome screen is cooler. the guns recoil now which is harder but cool. haven't checked if there's any more of those crazy fusion frenzy games on it yet though.

 
ya the multiplayer is tite. they redid blood gulch and battle creek and then add a bunch a new ones. the xbox live portion is really good, i havent experienced any lag wit it at all

^^^^ Yea, I thought the gameplay felt a lot quicker and more intense, more like unreal tournament. The new guns and maps are sweet.

We played for like 6 hours last night with four xboxs and four copies and I have to admit I got a little sick of it. It is a different gameplay than the first one, so being good at halo doesn't mean you'll be good at halo 2.

yeah man i invited my friend over on wensday and we just ran up to my room to play halo, we litterally played NON STOP (exept for a ten minute break for food) until one oclock. and then he woke me up and 8 to play again. we beat the game on coop its fucking sick. but deffinatly didn't live up to its hype, you can't do melee combos and you can't sprint like they said you would be able too.

so sick though

Is it worth getting it even if you don't have Xbox live? I don't feel like paying a monthly fee, but I have an Xbox.

for sure, my friend who i have been playing at (i dont have an xbox) doesnt have live, and we are still getting consumed. we are trying to beat co-op on legandary....its so fucking hard. in the first halo when one guy would die, you just waited till the area was clear and he spawned right next to your partner, now if you play leg. and one player dies, you go back to the last checkpoint automatically. its crazy. but soooo fucking fun. when i get my next pay check, i am getting an xbox and Halo 2.

It hasn't blown my mind yet, and there are some imperfections that could have been easily fixed. It is still a great sequel to a great game. I need to play it more before i can actually state how good it really is.

my friend got it, beat it the second day he had it on normal. we tried beating it on legendary today, its rediculously hard. the recoil really threw me off at first. yeah it seems to move faster than the first, especially aiming, like it seems harder to keep your aim on someone when you are moving. and the indicators constantly changing colors for your teammates in multiplayer is kinda annoying.

 
It takes some getting used to.

At first i thought i didn't like it but now i love it and think it's way better than the orginal...who thought that was possible. It is the most amazing game i've ever played and i'm definitely playin it all this weekend

one of the best multi player games every created without a daught. but i must say whats up with the missions? i beat the game in under 8 hours, just rushed though the thing but what the fuck is up with the ending it just ends like in the middle of the battle. im sure they are setting it up for a third halo but come on a better ending would have made the game so much better, longer too

 
i love how you can dual weild(Sp?) all the guns now.. not sure if any one has mentond it... not sure if you could have it in the first one havent played he first one in so long, but yah totaly a worth while buying game

I have been playing Halo 2 for a while and that game is truly one of the best games for people who have Xbox Live. But if you dont have Xbox Live I think that Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is a lot more entertaining and has a way better story mode...
